Arc Raiders: How To Upgrade Weapons

Upgrading weapons in Arc Raiders is crucial, considering the importance of weapons to take the fight to the Arcs. The gun mechanics in Arc Raiders work differently from what you’re used to. The more you use your weapons, the more they incur damage over time. If these are not worked on in time, they can break and be discarded from your inventory. You can, however, prolong their durability along with other stats by upgrading your weapon.

Weapon Upgrade Overview in Arc Raiders

When you upgrade your weapon in Arc Raiders, you will help boost its various stats. This could include mag size, reload speed, and Durability, among others. To upgrade your gun, you must first set up a workstation, Gunsmith I. Let us take a look at how you can do this. You can do this later to craft weapons using blueprints you own. You can find these weapon blueprints when you are out on a run.

Required Materials:

• Metal Parts: 20
• Rubber Parts: 30

Steps To Set Up the Gunstation

1. From the main menu, head to the Workshop tab.
2. You will see the list of available workstations down below.
3. Click on the ‘+’ sign and select the ‘Gunstation 1’ table.
4. If you have the available resources, you can click on the ‘Install’ button.

Steps To Upgrade Weapons in Arc Raiders

Once you have your Gunstation ready, you can now upgrade any of your available guns. To do so, follow the steps below.

1. Go to the workshop menu and open the ‘Gunsmith I’ workstation.
2. From there, you will see the list of available guns you have in your current inventory.
3. Select the gun you wish to modify and click on ‘Craft’.
4. Make sure you have the required parts to make the upgrade.
