This Arc Raiders guide will go over how to use the game’s extensive skill tree, as well as how to gather Skill Points to unlock the skills.
Arc Raiders throws you off into the deep end, alone to fend for yourself in a hostile world. While this world may seem brutal at first, you can quickly even the odds by investing in the game’s extensive skill tree. Arc Raiders’ skill tree allows you to improve your conditioning, mobility, and survival traits.
No skill is useless in Arc Raiders’ skill tree, and if you wish to stand a chance against Raiders and Arc alike, you have to use it. If you wish to use it but don’t know how to, this article should be of help.
How To Use the Skill Tree in Arc Raiders
You can access and use the Skill Tree from the main menu section of the game. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Load into the Arc Raiders main menu.
- Look at the top of your screen and you’ll see several tabs. Click on the Raider tab. This is the third tab from the left.
- The Raider menu will allow you to customize your Raider over the course of the game. At the bottom of your screen, you’ll see different aspects of your Raider you can meddle with. Click on the Skill Tree button. This is the first button from the left.
- You’ll then be taken to the game’s skill tree. There are three different branches you can invest in – Conditioning (green), Survival (Red), and Mobility (yellow). Use Skill Points to purchase the skills you need. You’ll have to work your way from the bottom of a branch to the top, with the topmost skills being the strongest.

How To Gain Skill Points in Arc Raiders
Now that you know how to use the Arc Raiders’ skill tree, you’ll need Skill Points if you wish to unlock the various skills. You unlock Skill Points by leveling up in the game, for which you need XP. You play through the game and do activities, all of which reward you with XP. At the end of a match, you’re shown the XP you accumulated over the course of a run. Once you cross a certain threshold, you level up and earn Skill Points.
