Make communication with other Raiders with a whole new voice using the voice changer feature in Arc Raiders.
The third-person extraction shooter is gaining traction by the second, winning the hearts of players who are boldly stepping onto the topside. Not only do you have to face the harsh environmental dangers in the form of ARCs, but you will also be engaging in some PvP action. What stands out in Arc Raiders is how you have the choice to either face other Raiders or team up with them. This is where voice chat comes into play and brings Arc Raiders to life on many levels.

Voice Changer Overview in Arc Raiders
Voice Changer is a game-changing feature in Arc Raiders. Normally, you can use your mic to communicate with Raiders in proximity, letting them know your intentions. The Voice Changer feature, currently in its beta phase, lets you add a twist to it by choosing between a male or female voice.
How creative you wish to get with this feature is entirely your choice, but it will definitely have an impact on your run. There are currently 10 voice presets for you to choose from, with five male voices and five female ones. The voices have subtle tonal shifts, ranging from calm to accented to gruff. You can experiment with them in the settings menu by following the steps below.
Steps To Change Raider Voice
To change the voice of your Raider, you can follow the steps given below.
- Once in-game, from the main menu, click on ‘Escape’ or click the ‘Settings’ button on the bottom right side of your screen.
- You will see a list of options to either change your controls or gameplay settings. Now, click on the ‘Audio‘ tab.
- Scroll down till you see the ‘Raider Voice Beta’ option.
- Toggle on the ‘Raider Voice Heard by’ option to Everyone or Team.
- Finally, switch between the 10 voice presets using the ‘Raider Voice Selection’ option.
