Locate the main EMP and shut it down along with the associated batteries to complete the Straight Record quest in Arc Raiders.
The Straight Record quest in Arc Raiders is to be completed within the Dam Battlegrounds map in Arc Raiders. To complete the objectives, you need to shut down three different batteries within the same area before turning off the main EMP. The good part about this quest is that it can be completed across multiple runs, and you don’t need to extract with any materials.
In this article, we will look at how to complete the ‘Straight Record’ quest in Arc Raiders.
Straight Record Overview in Arc Raiders
You will receive this quest from the trader, Shani. This quest is one of the lengthier ones with more steps, but easy to complete. Here is the list of objectives you will need to complete the mission.
- Reach Victory Ridge.
- Find the old EMP trap.
- Disable the first power switch.
- Disable the second power switch.
- Disable the third power switch.
- Shut down the EMP trap.

How To Complete Straight Record
This quest is specific to the Dam battlegrounds map. Once you reach there, you will need to head to Victory Ridge. Reach the corner road right between the West Broken Bridge and Ruby Residence. In the middle of the desert, between some rocks, you will find the EMP. Interact with it by ‘Investigating’ it.
Battery 1
As soon as you do that, you will see a small hill beside you with trees on top. Proceed upwards the hill and take a right halfway. You will see a small battery by the edge of the cliff. Approach and interact with it to turn it off.
Battery 2
For the second one, head down the hill and run in the direction of the EMP. After running past it, you will see a small metallic hut to its left. Scale the structure and leap across to the other side. Right behind the red walls, you will see the battery hiding. Interact with it and shut it down.
Battery 3
Now, jump down from the right side and run towards the tree. Resting beside it, you will find the third and final battery. Interact and turn this off to then head back to the EMP. You find the option to ‘Turn off’ once you approach it. Take action on the prompt, and the quest will be completed.
