Water Troubles is a quest in Arc Raiders given by Celeste, one of the traders in the Raider Den and the leader of Speranza. She suspects that there is tampering and potential sabotage taking place around the Dam, with the water supply at risk of contamination.
The quest involves entering the Flood Access Tunnel and retrieving a water sample within a single match on the Dam Battlegrounds map. This guide walks you through the quest to find the exact location to retrieve the water sample and lists the rewards you can expect after completing the objectives.
How To Begin Water Troubles Quest in Arc Raiders
Water Troubles is the 11th Celeste quest in Arc Raiders, which you can begin after completing its predecessors. The required missions include Root of the Matter, Untended Garden, and A Balanced Harvest.
After completing the earlier missions, select Celeste in the Raider Den, and switch to her “Quests” tab. You can then take on the Water Troubles quest and set it as the active quest. The mission does not require you to bring any specific materials or equipment while heading topside to the Dam Battlegrounds.

Arc Raiders: Water Troubles Walkthrough
After spawning into the Dam Battlegrounds map, begin making your way to the Red Lakes Berm area, located in the center-east. You will have to complete the following objectives within a single match:
- Locate the Flood Access Tunnel under the Red Lake Berm
- Find the intake to the District’s Water Supply
- Sample the water
Enter the Flood Access Tunnel in Red Lakes Berm
The Flood Access Tunnel you need to enter is situated directly east of the Control Tower building. You can easily spot the giant tunnel entrance once you enter the Red Lakes Berm area.

Get the Water Sample
Climb into the Flood Access Tunnel and head straight in. At the end of the giant tunnel, you will enter a room with multiple pipes and a pool of water. Approach the partially submerged pipe on the left and interact with it to collect the water sample. With the water sample collected, the Water Troubles quest is complete. You do not need to successfully extract with the water sample to finish the quest. The next mission from Celeste is Source of the Contamination.
