Destroy the Hornets in Arc Raiders by sourcing their locations and exploiting their weaknesses to collect their exclusive drops.
Arc Raiders is filled with threats in abundance. You need to be wary of other raiders with the same motives as you, that is, survival. But hiding in plain sight across each of these maps are the ARCs, all ready to terminate your hopes of extracting safely. Out of these many enemies, Hornets pose one of the threats, but their destruction also gives you tons of important drops, exclusively from them.

Hornet Overview in Arc Raiders
Hornets are one of the high-level threat ARCs you will encounter in the game. This is mostly due to their high durability. If you are not equipped with a heavy gun, you will find yourself emptying close to two entire magazines trying to take down a Hornet. Taking the time to upgrade and craft better weapons will help you in such fights.
These ARC machines come with semi-plate armor protecting their thrusters, both front and back. Instead of dealing direct damage, they often discharge electric shocks, stunning you in the process and leaving you vulnerable to attacks from other ARCs.
Where To Find Hornet in Arc Raider?
Hornets are found throughout all the maps. These drones are usually seen flying not too high up in the sky. When you spot a Hornet, you may also find them grouped with Wasps most of the time. They are more likely to spawn near roofs and terraces or close to housing structures than out in the wild.
How To Defeat a Hornet
Their weak spots are their rear thrusters, located right behind their armor. Using heavy ammo will be the most effective way to take them down quickly. You will get an indication of their line of fire by spotting a red laser. As soon as you see the laser, you must dodge using rolls or take cover in nearby bushes.
After successfully destroying a Hornet, you receive a total of 150 XP. Additionally, you get another 250 XP after looting the Hornet, totaling 400 XP.
