Learn where to find Lemons and Apricots in Arc Raiders to upgrade Scrappy, craft Fruit Mix, and complete mission objectives.
The core gameplay loop of Arc Raiders revolves around looting resources and blueprints during raids and extracting them to use for upgrades. Your workshop companion, Scrappy, is a helpful chicken who passively gathers crafting materials and supplies. To maximize his potential, you can upgrade Scrappy using atypical resources. For the Level 2 (Forager) upgrade, Scrappy requires a Dog Collar. However, getting him to Level 3 (Scavenger) requires two types of items: Lemons and Apricots.

How To Get Lemons and Apricots in Arc Raiders
You can find Lemons and Apricots in the Natural areas of all maps in Arc Raiders. To find locations with the Natural tag, look for the leaf icon above their names. The best map to find Lemons and Apricots is Blue Gate, which has small trees that drop the fruits. The Natural locations in Blue Gate include:
- Olive Grove
- Trapper’s Glade
- Village
Once you locate a small tree with Lemons or Apricots underneath it, interact with the tree to kick it and shake out more of the fruits. Each tree should give you 2–3 Lemons or Apricots.
Alternatively, you can head to the Water Treatment Control area in the Dam Battlegrounds. Travel to the patch of forest west of the water treatment building to find plenty of Lemons and Apricots lying beneath their trees.

How To Use Lemons and Apricots in Arc Raiders
Once you have gathered 3 Lemons and 3 Apricots, you can upgrade Scrappy to Level 3 (Scavenger). This is the best use of these fruity resources, as your faithful chicken companion will increase his passive resource collection considerably, providing you with a greater bounty of basic crafting materials in his collection box.
If you have already upgraded Scrappy to Level 3, you should still stock up on Apricots whenever possible, as the Level 5 Scrappy upgrade requires 12 Apricots, 12 Mushrooms, and 3 Comfortable Pillows. To upgrade him, head to the Workshop at the Raider Den and select the Scrappy tab. Click the “Train” button, and you can spend the required resources to level up Scrappy.
Besides Scrappy upgrades, you can use a Lemon and an Apricot to craft a Fruit Mix with one Prickly Pear. You will also need 3 Lemons, along with 1 Water Filter and 1 Water Pump for the Unexpected Initiative quest.
