Simply put, no, any progress made in the ARC Raiders Server Slam playtest won’t be carrying over to the final launch. As the name suggests, the developers conducted this playtest to check the servers’ performance. Developers have made it open to all to help stress test the systems and collect feedback.

Why Won’t the ARC Raiders Server Slam Progress Carry Over?
As just discussed, Embark Studios conducted the ARC Raiders Server Slam playtest to test the servers’ performance in preparation for the game’s final release.
In the official ARC Raiders blog post detailing Server Slam, the developers discussed why they decided to conduct an open playtest. Here’s what the developers had to say:
“We’re tuning, refining, and pushing our infrastructure before launch. It’s an essential final step in making sure every citizen of Speranza has a bed to rest in and a hook to hang their pack on. Every shot fired, every connection made, every encounter survived helps us make the full game smoother.”

Essentially, the developers conducted this test to collect data on the game’s server performance. Since it is an online-only extraction shooter, having a stable and secure online experience for all players is extremely crucial. This playtest will also help developers give the game a final polish and squash a few bugs before it launches.
Hence, any progress made during the test won’t be carried over to the final release. When it launches, players must start with a clean slate and begin their journey from scratch. However, those who have participated in the Server Slam playtest will be rewarded with the Server Slammer Backpack, giving them a head start on their adventures.
This reward will await all participants of the playtest when the game releases on October 30, 2025.
