Are Blade and Phoenix Officially Confirmed for Marvel Rivals Season 3?

Will Marvel Rivals Season 3 have Blade and Phoenix as their playable heroes? Here’s all you need to know about the confirmations.

Marvel Rivals has long teased Blade as a character in the game. They also teased Jean Grey Phoenix in Season 2 as part of the Cerebro Database I Seasonal Event. However, Blade, of the two, even has a character model in the game. First, he was a prisoner in Dracula’s castle in the Empire of Eternal Night, Central Park Convergence map. Later, he was rescued by our heroes and brought to the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda, Birnin T’Challa Domination map. So, what’s the confirmation that these heroes are coming to Season 3 of Marvel Rivals?

Both characters have been teased with their leaked abilities in the past. However, the latest information seems to be reportedly confirming their coming, as we await their arrival in Season 3.

Blade and Phoenix May Reportedly Be Playable in Marvel Rivals Season 3

The “leaked abilities” of Blade and Phoenix suggest that they will be playable heroes on the roster. We know that Knull will be the big bad of the upcoming season, as teased by the final Gallery Card of Season 2.5. So, Phoenix is the “primal force” that the heroes have to recruit to fight Knull (another primal force of the universe. Blade fits into the story because Knull’s reemergence poses a threat to the Panther Goddess Bast. Since the vampire hunter was resting in Wakanda, he will rise again to help his allies.

The missing piece of the story was added when the screenshot from a Twitch Blog Post was uploaded for Marvel Rivals’ upcoming Twitch Campaigns. On the screen, we can see an upcoming Hawkeye Will of Galacta drop schedule. This will come after the ongoing Magik drops.

However, the most interesting part of this blog post is the description at the top. It says, “Phoenix and Blade ignite the action in Marvel Rivals Season 3.” This further confirms that Blade and Phoenix will be coming to the third season as playable heroes. Blade might be the first to arrive. He already has a game model and is no longer to be found sleeping in Wakanda. Moreover, Phoenix has a more important role to play in defeating Knull, so it would make sense if she arrives in the mid-season.
