Does Arma Reforger have a fix for the backend error? Let’s explore any potential ways to get around this technical issue.
Have you also experienced the backend error while playing Arma Reforger? Such has been the case with many other players around the world. This was first experienced back in 2022 when the game was still in Early Access. Unfortunately, even after a full release, there is a certain number of players who still get this error at times.
Do we have a fix for it? Bohemia Interactive hasn’t released an official fix for when you find this error in the game. However, that doesn’t stop the community members from supporting each other. Turns out, people may have found a cure for the technical ailment.
Whenever a player opens the server browser and changes the filters, this error might occur. Your first response would be to restart the game, but that may not work. People have also tried reinstalling the game but failed to fix this error.
So, there is one way that you can try to fix this error but unfortunately, that is only for PC users.

Arma Reforger Backend Error: A Potential Fix
If you are a PC user, you will find some errors because of your firewall. Don’t go around disabling it, of course, but you can set some exceptions when it comes to certain files in a game.
Fares H. on Steam faced a similar issue with the backend a few months ago and fixed it on their own. The user mentioned that they made exceptions for arma reforger .exe and ArmaReforger_BE.exe in their system’s firewall. Fares H. then claimed that this had fixed the backend issue, and there were no further updates under that thread.
Since there is no official fix for this issue yet, you can give it a try even if you are somewhat technical. However, we advise that you practice it at your own discretion. Until then, even if you continue facing these issues, you can reach out to the game’s official forums for additional help and to inform the team about your issues.
