Take a look at the 4 Boruto characters that Sasuke Uchiha can destroy in a fight and 4 characters who he could never hope to defeat.

Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto series is home to some of the most overpowered characters in the anime industry. However, its sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, took power-scaling to a whole new level, featuring characters with god-like powers who overpowered both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha in a fight.
At the end of Naruto: Shippuden, Naruto, and Sasuke became two of the strongest shinobi in all of the Five Great Shinobi Countries. In fact, Sasuke was considered to be almost as strong as Naruto, if not stronger. However, as the Boruto series introduces a newer and more powerful generation of shinobi, Sasuke’s dominance is no longer as absolute as it once was.
In fact, after being stripped of his Rinnegan, he was weakened even further, allowing the next generation of shinobi to take the spotlight. That being said, let us explore the 4 Boruto characters Sasuke could easily overpower in a fight, and 4 who he could never hope to defeat.
4 Boruto Characters That Sasuke Can Destroy
First, let us look at the 4 Boruto characters who are no match for Sasuke Uchiha. While there’s no doubt that these characters could grow stronger in the future, at their current power level, they would be utterly annihilated by the Shadow Hokage.
1) Shikadai Nara

Much like his father Shikamaru, Shikadai Nara is a natural strategist and tactician who uses his wits and quick thinking to outsmart and overwhelm his opponents. His Shadow Imitation technique, in particular, has proven effective in subduing many powerful opponents. However, Sasuke’s power far exceeds what Shikadai can currently handle.
With his Shadow Imitation technique, Shikadai might be able to momentarily trap Sasuke. Other than that, there is nothing else Shikadai can do that would allow him to gain the upper hand against an opponent like Sasuke. Despite his impressive intelligence, Shikadai lacks the raw power and versatility required to counter someone of Sasuke’s caliber.
Moreover, Sasuke is a pretty intelligent fighter himself. In addition to that, his years of experience facing opponents more powerful than himself would allow him to make light work of Shikadai. While Shikadai will eventually become an exceptionally strong shinobi and surpass his father, he is currently nowhere near the power level required to face off against Sasuke.
2) Metal Lee

Like his father, Rock Lee, Metal Lee is a taijutsu prodigy. As a natural-born genius, he possesses immense strength and stamina and is able to keep up with his father’s intense training regimens. Moreover, he can even subconsciously open the first of the Eight Gates. Overall, his notable speed, precision, and raw strength make him a formidable fighter in close-quarters combat.
However, compared to someone like Sasuke Uchiha, who can combine taijutsu with powerful ninjutsu and genjutsu, Metal Lee would stand little chance of victory in a fight against him.
Any advantage he could have due to his incredible speed and reflexes would be immediately neutralized by Sasuke, especially since the latter’s Sharingan can predict his movements. Even if Metal were to unlock the Eight Gates in an act of desperation, the physical toll it would have on his body would leave him vulnerable to Sasuke’s long-range attacks.
3) Chocho Akimichi

As the daughter of Choji Akimichi and a member of the Akimichi clan, Chocho Akimichi is undeniably a powerful fighter within her weight class. Her Lightning Release and Akimichi clan techniques, like the Multi-Size technique, give her a significant edge in group fights. However, Sasuke Uchiha operates on a whole different level. Against an opponent like him, even her strongest techniques would falter almost immediately.
Other than his proficiency in ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu abilities, Sasuke’s raw strength and speed are leagues beyond anything Chocho can handle. While her Multi-Size technique does deal devastating attacks in some scenarios, they are far too slow to touch someone as agile and blindingly fast as Sasuke. Moreover, Sasuke’s battle experience would allow him to effortlessly dispose of Chocho. Even without his Rinnegan, it’s unlikely that Chocho would stand any better chance of defeating Sasuke than she already does.
4) Sarada Uchiha

While Sarada did inherit Sasuke’s genius and potential, she is still a work in progress. She still has miles to go if she ever wants to catch up to her father in his prime. In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, she was nowhere near Sasuke’s level, even after he lost his Rinnegan and became significantly weaker.
That said, in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Sarada became significantly more powerful than before. In terms of overall progression, her overall strength rivals Sasuke’s. As such, it’s safe to assume that she might be able to surpass her father one day.
However, as of now, she lacks the battle experience, raw power, and speed to stand against her father. Sasuke’s years of battle-hardened experience and mastery over the Mangekyo Sharingan would overwhelm Sarada in a short amount of time. While this doesn’t diminish her potential in any way, Sarada’s current power level is certainly not enough to rival Sasuke in a fight.
4 Boruto Characters Sasuke Could Never Hope to Defeat
Conversely, there is also a wide range of Boruto characters that Sasuke can never defeat in a fight. Even with his Rinnegan, he was no match for some of these characters and had to team up with Naruto Uzumaki, Boruto Uzumaki, and even Kawaki to defeat them. With that said, let us look at the 4 characters who are far beyond Sasuke’s power level:
1) Jigen

As the leader of Kara, Jigen is an opponent far beyond Sasuke’s capabilities. Initially a novice monk, Jigen became the vessel for Isshiki Otsutsuki, who was resurrected in his body after he was burnt to death. Furthermore, Jigen’s body was modified with Scientific Ninja Tools, making him a monster in terms of raw power and ability.
After Isshiki took over his body, Jigen possessed god-like strength, speed, and durability. Even without accessing his full power, he was able to effortlessly and simultaneously overpower Naruto and Sasuke, the two strongest shinobi in history. From this feat alone, Jigen made it clear that Sasuke stands no chance of handling him all by himself.
Even with his vast arsenal of abilities, Sasuke was unable to penetrate Jigen’s defenses or even deal significant damage to him. If he were to face Jigen all by himself, Sasuke’s only strategy to survive the encounter would be to flee—a humiliating yet viable reality even for someone as powerful as him.
2) Boruto Uzumaki

In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, the son of the Seventh Hokage, Boruto Uzumaki, surprised almost everyone with his immense growth in a relatively short span of time, surpassing almost every single character. With only a few years of training, Boruto learned everything there was to learn from Sasuke Uchiha, who acted as his mentor while the former was on the run.
In the current timeline of the series, Boruto has become far more powerful and formidable than anyone could have imagined. He represents the epitome of the next generation of shinobi and has officially surpassed both Naruto and Sasuke in terms of raw skill and talent. At his current level, he even rivals his grandfather, Minato Namikaze, in terms of speed.
Boruto’s inherited abilities and teachings from several family members and mentors allowed him to become the strongest of his generation. He even effortlessly defeated Kawaki, who was said to be the strongest in Konoha after Boruto left the village. We can only imagine how much more powerful Boruto can become in the coming years.
3) Momoshiki Otsutsuki

As one of the strongest members of the Otsutsuki clan, Momoshiki is an Otsutsuki of terrifying power and intellect, far beyond anything Sasuke can handle on his own. In the anime, Naruto and Sasuke had to combine their power in order to stand a chance against Momoshiki. Despite that, the fight mostly remained in Momoshiki’s favor.
Momoshiki’s ability to absorb chakra-based attacks and return them after making it several times stronger makes him a nightmare for most. In fact, his abilities became even more terrifying after he absorbed Kinshiki. As such, even with all his skills and experience, Momoshiki isn’t someone who Sasuke can take on by his lonesome and hope to emerge victorious.
4) Eida

Like most members of Kara, Eida’s body was modified with Scientific Ninja Tools by Amado. Although the true extent of her power is currently unknown, it was stated by Amado that her physical and combat abilities exceeded Jigen’s. As such, taking down an opponent like Sasuke shouldn’t be too difficult for her.
Apart from having the power of Senrigan, Eida possesses the power of Omnipotence. It is a shinjutsu that can manifest all of her desires into reality, albeit subconsciously in her case. Basically, it is a reality-altering power that only a god can use. As such, her power level is leagues beyond Sasuke’s, who would stand no hope of defeating her in a fight.
Conclusion
Sasuke Uchiha will undoubtedly remain a legend in shinobi history. While he may be significantly weaker than before, the challenges he faced against stronger opponents in the Boruto series highlighted that even the strongest have their limits.
