Captain Yamamoto’s battle with Yhwach is considered by many to be the best fight in all of Bleach. This jaw-dropping confrontation was filled with years of history, where the vengeful Quincy King faced the intimidating leader of the Soul Reapers.

Yamamoto’s Bankai, Zanka no Tachi, stunned fans, demonstrating sheer devastation. When the Soul Reaper seemed to have won, Yhwach’s deception was revealed. It shows how Yamamoto fights Royd Loyd, and the Quincy King snuck up on him to steal his powers and land a fatal blow.

This visually pleasing battle that shockingly concluded has been solidified as one of the most memorable Bleach moments.

2) Ichigo Arrives in Soul Society

Ever since the Quincy invasion of Soul Society began, Ichigo had been trapped in a Reishi Prison by Quilge. Due to this, despite the monumental events going on in Soul Society, he was unable to intervene.

With help from Akon, he finally entered the battle, signaled by an immense surge in spiritual pressure. This moment became more impactful when an injured Byakuya begged him to protect Soul Society.

Soon after, Ichigo faced off against Yhwach, where he was forced to confront his own Quincy heritage. This sequence of events made this a very hype and pivotal moment in Bleach.

3) Zaraki Fights Gremmy

Right after unlocking his Zanpakuto with Unohana’s help, Zaraki faced off against Gremmy, a Quincy with a broken ability. This antagonist used The Visionary, where he could bring anything he imagined into reality.

This made him attack Zaraki with items such as guns, meteors, and even clones. However, Zaraki’s thirst for battle and the new form of Nozarashi allowed him to cut down everything in his path. Visibly shocked, Gremmy eventually self-destructed from his own ability when trying to become a monster. Zaraki’s resurgence and his battle with this creative Schrift made this an unforgettable battle for fans.

4) Aizen Returns

It is not an overstatement to say that Aizen is the most popular character in Bleach. Despite being an antagonist, this manipulative genius has formed a large following. Hence, while he was imprisoned in Muken, the entire fandom was looking forward to his return.

They finally got the opportunity, overjoyed when Yhwach went to meet him. When the Quincy King asked Aizen to join him, the former villain simply refused, expressing his thoughts in the charismatic manner fans expected.

It was later revealed that Aizen had also tricked Yhwach, manipulating his sense of time. This forced the Quincy King to retreat quickly, creating even more excitement for Aizen to join the battlefield later in the series.

5) Shunsui Reveals His Bankai

Shunsui Kyoraku had been an enigma for the majority of Bleach, where he seemed carefree, but we never properly saw his powers. In his battle against Lille Barro, however, his chilling ability was finally revealed, leaving fans in awe.

The Katen Kyokatsu: Karamatsu Shinju is a Bankai that was banned due to how terrifying it was. This ability made the powerful Schutzstaffel member take part in a play, where he would be inflicted with different wounds through four acts.

The poetic nature of its ability, gorgeous imagery, and the introduction of Ohana were enough to generate hype from all viewers.

6) Yhwach Uses the Almighty Against Ichibe

When Yhwach was on his way to kill the Soul King, he faced Squad Zero’s strongest member, Ichibe. This was a significant clash in Bleach, where Ichibe’s control over “Black” and his ability to assign names seemingly defeated Yhwach.

Against all odds, the Quincy King and his ability- the Almighty, turned the tables. By looking into the future and rewriting outcomes, Yhwach gained power great enough to defeat his formidable opponent. This was a hype moment that emphasized the monumental task ahead of Ichigo and his friends.

7) Rukia Displays the Hakka no Togame

Rukia’s strength had been a source of heavy debate in Bleach since she simply hadn’t had as many standout moments as the cast around her. However, the Thousand-Year Blood War changed this perception when she fought As Nodt.

Since Quincy had come close to killing her brother, Rukia had prepared sufficient countermeasures to face his fear-inducing abilities. In one of the most visually stunning scenes in the series, she unveiled her Bankai – Hakka no Togame. This made her entire surroundings reach the temperature of absolute zero, freezing Nodt.

Having avenged her brother’s loss, she deactivated it with Byakuya’s help to avoid her body’s breakdown. This was a moment of evolution for Rukia, showing how she was capable enough to stand with the strongest.

8) Ichigo Unlocks His New Bankai

Ichigo’s new Bankai will be covered in the final part of the Thousand-Year Blood War anime, leaving the entire fandom eagerly awaiting its reveal. This transformation occurred after Ichigo lost his Zanpakuto in the early stages of the war and later reforged it with Nimaiya’s help.

By embracing his Soul Reaper, Hollow, and Quincy heritage, Ichigo gained two separate blades as his new Shikai. In his final confrontation against Yhwach, he unveiled his new Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu, powerful enough to threaten the Quincy King.

Like his previous transformations, this moment brought a significant change in character design along with a rapid surge in power. As a result, anime fans have every reason to be excited about this scene’s adaptation.
