Michael Kaiser is the latest rival of Isagi in the series and a prodigy who is part of the New Generation World XI. Kaiser is a highly arrogant individual who is being personally trained by Noel Noa to evolve.

Having been given the stamp of approval from the most respected character in the series, Kaiser constantly stuns characters as well as fans. He is very skilled in ball control, takes advantage of any gap in the defense and is feared for his clinical finishing.

He is capable of using Metavision, rivalling Isagi in this aspect. Kaiser is mainly known for his ability to end games through a powerful shot called Kaiser Impact. As a result, he stands out in the Neo Egoist League and is its best player for the most part.

8) Rin Itoshi

As Project Blue Lock’s best player in the past, Rin Itoshi is a highly driven individual who aims to reach the heights of his brother Sae. He is highly skilled in dribbling and examining the game, winning a one-on-one duel against his brother during the Japan U-20 match.

Most importantly, Rin thrives under pressure. He grew unparalleled during his match against Isagi and Kaiser’s team, single-handedly facing both of them for a long time. His spatial awareness allows him to move before his opponents, being in the right place at the right time.

Rin is most known for his Flow State, where he is completely immersed, and his tongue sticks out. This enhances all his senses, letting him destroy his opponents with little care for himself.

7) Yoichi Isagi

By the end of his final match in the Neo Egoist League, Isagi proved yet again why he is the protagonist of Blue Lock. Having been in a struggle against his teammate Kaiser and the evolving Rin, Isagi himself had to grow at great speed.

He is a very intellectual person who is constantly analyzing the field. Isagi can gain a closer insight into teammates as well as opponents, manipulating the match as he sees fit. His Metavision, though initially surpassed by Kaiser, comes out on top by the end of their match.

Isagi’s reflexes and ability to use others has always allowed him to steal the spotlight. Hence, while his direct shots and ability to exploit luck may be what let him score winning goals, his true trump card is his mind games.

6) Sae Itoshi

Sae Itoshi is a member of the New Generation World XI and one of Blue Lock’s most technically gifted players. While initially a striker, Sae changed his role to midfielder, becoming the central figure of his team.

Despite his emotional detachment, Sae knows how to get the best out of his teammates during a match. As a playmaker, he controls the entire field, making those around him follow his vision. This is complemented by his own techniques, where he shows perfect accuracy, dribbling and awareness.

Though not a striker like the others in this list, Sae is a gamechanger whenever he plays. He also has a good instinct for the game, noticing Isagi’s potential during their match.

5) Julian Loki

As the French prodigy who coaches Paris X Gen in the Neo Egoist League, Julian Loki is a young but extremely talented player in the series. Despite playing for a short time during the Third Selection and in the Neo Egoist League, Loki has significantly impacted the game at every appearance.

This is mainly due to his physical superiority and unmatched speed. With his signature skill Godspeed, Loki leaves every opponent in the dust through a rapid burst of pure pace. He has high endurance and is capable of easily passing through defenders with his dribbling.

Loki is also training the talented Charles Chevalier to become the perfect passer to his playstyle. Since Charles displayed impressive skills with Rin and Shido, this is a testament to Loki’s coaching as well.

4) Lavinho

Lavinho is a flexible, free-thinking Brazilian footballer who coaches FC Barcha in the Neo Egoist League. His style is the ideal version that Bachira wishes to grow into, motivating him to join the Spanish team.

Lavinho is an incredible dribbler who relies on flashy skills and fluid control, seeing football similar to a dance. His creativity, where he uses dangerous skills such as rainbow flicks to get past opponents, shows confidence as well as flair. This makes it near-impossible for any opponent to get a proper read on him.

3) Marc Snuffy

Considered by Noel Noa as the world’s best playmaker, Snuffy is the coach of the Ubers in the Neo Egoist League. He is a highly analytical individual who can serve any role during a game. Snuffy’s plans form the core of his players’ styles, where he leads every team to victory.

He has exquisite ball control and uses Metavision to have a perfect understanding of the field. Snuffy’s superior physicality also lets him face any opponent, overpowering the likes of Kaiser and Barou.

His threat was so great during his match against Isagi that Noa had to step out on his own, though barely keeping him on hold.

2) Chris Prince

Blue Lock may not have focused a lot on Manshine City’s coach, Chris Prince, but he is widely believed to be the second-best player in the world. Prince’s footballing ability completely relies upon his perfect physicality, where he plays every game with superior conditioning.

Due to this, it is very hard for defenders to put pressure on him, where Chris controls the ball and shoots it from extremely difficult situations. He has also developed a dangerous knuckle ball to become the best player. This shot moves in an illogical way, leaving both the shooter and the goalkeeper at wits end on how it will travel.

1) Noel Noa

There is little doubt in anyone’s mind that Noel Noa is the best Blue Lock player in the manga. Noa has represented the highest form of the game ever since the beginning, inspiring the protagonist to join the sport.

As Bastard Munchen’s player and coach, there are no discernible weaknesses in Noa’s game. He plays a cold and calculating style of football aimed at his success. His game is extremely balanced, making use of his strength to confidently move past any opponent.

Noa is also ambidextrous and can make immensely powerful and accurate shots from any situation. His thirst for challenges makes him mentor Kaiser into a great player, all so that he can elevate his own game. Hence, having set the standard for perfection and representing dominance on the field, he has cemented his position as a legend in the series.
