The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, held in Las Vegas, featured several new innovative ideas and products, including announcements from companies like Nvidia, AMD, Sony, Razer, and more. 

Every year, industry-leading developers and tech giants across the world come together to showcase their latest developments and technologies for the years to come. Let’s take a look at the biggest announcements at CES 2025.

All Major Announcements at CES 2025

This year’s CES saw a range of diverse products, from high-performance GPUs and new handheld devices to heating and cooling mesh gaming chairs. However, only a few announcements were big enough to create a potentially long-lasting impact on the gaming and tech industry.

Nvidia Announces RTX 5000 Blackwell Series GPUs

Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang took to the stage at CES 2025 to announce their latest GPU series – RTX 5000 Blackwell Series. Let’s take a look at all the variants available in the 50 Series:

  • Nvidia RTX 5090 – $1999
  • Nvidia RTX 5080 – $999
  • Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti – $749
  • Nvidia RTX 5070 – $549

According to Huang, the RTX 5070, with the help of DLSS 4, will be able to deliver a performance similar to that of the RTX 4090. Additionally, the RTX 5090 will deliver twice the performance of its predecessor flagship.

AMD RX 9070 Series

Nvidia’s top competitor, AMD, announced its mid-range GPU series, RX 9070 XT and RX 9070, designed to compete against Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti and 5070 categories, respectively.

While AMD’s newest GPU series has been confirmed, there is no news available on its pricing and release dates.

The new GPUs will come with FSR 4, an AI-upscaler; which would be exclusive to the RX 9070 series.

Lenovo Legion Go S

Lenovo recently announced its latest handheld device, Lenovo Legion Go S, equipped with AMD’s Ryzen Z2 chip. The official specifications of the device are as follows:

  • 32GB RAM
  • AMD Ryzen Z2 Chip
  • 8-inch 1200p Display
  • SteamOS
  • Price: $499 (Steam OS variant), $599 (Z2 Go variant), $729 (AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme Version)

As per Lenovo, this new handheld gaming device will start shipping in May 2025.

Razer Project Arielle

Razer, best known for its top-of-the-line computer gaming accessories, has unveiled its latest gaming chair at CES 2025. Project Arielle is the first of its kind, as it comes with an integrated fan system that dynamically heats and cools you.

Razer’s newly announced gaming chair comes with RGB lighting, promises to heat up to 30 degrees Celsius, and cool ambient temperatures by two to five degrees. Temperature can be controlled via a touch panel on the side. With no official release date as of yet, Project Arielle remains a concept for now.

Sony Immersive Entertainment Concept Trailer and Movie Announcements

Sony showcased its Future Immersive Entertainment Concept, which could potentially revolutionize gaming. It offers individuals a chance to experience a PlayStation-exclusive IP by stepping into a room covered by Sony Crystal LED Panels that utilize haptics, audio, scent, and other interactive mediums.

Additionally, Sony also announced two upcoming movies based on their IPs – Helldivers 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn, with a Ghost of Tsushima Legends anime on the way as well.
