Black Myth: Wukong posts about its massive unit sale milestone and impressive concurrent player count within three days of its global launch.
Within three days of its launch, Black Myth: Wukong has sold 10 million units and amassed three million concurrent players across all platforms. GameScience’s ARPG released on August 20, 2024, to rave reviews. Praise also poured in from gamers who had been hyped about the launch. With 91 bosses to defeat and 81 achievements to unlock (36 trophies on PS5), the game has plenty to offer.

Black Myth: Wukong has sold 10 million units across all platforms before the first weekend since its release, which is a big deal. The player count will potentially have a significant spike during the weekend. In the official post on the game’s X profile, GameScience stated that the data was as of 21:00 Beijing time, August 23, 2024.
Upon launch, the Black Myth: Wukong player count hit one million on Steam concurrent sessions in less than a couple of hours. At the time of writing, it is the most-played single-player game on Steam with an all-time peak of 2,415,714. According to SteamDB, the top 10 is as follows:

The game is currently available on PS5 and PC. It was supposed to arrive on Xbox Series X|S at launch as well, but that has been indefinitely delayed since the developer is optimizing it further for the platform.
