God of War Ragnarok is all set to feature post-launch content for the game, including the Valhalla DLC, when it releases on PC.
Santa Monica Studio’s epic conclusion to the Norse saga, God of War Ragnarok, is nearing its release on PC. Fans of Kratos are undoubtedly excited to experience this acclaimed title on PC after such a long wait. Some have been wondering which parts of the game’s release will find their way into the PC port. Luckily, God of War Ragnarok PC will include the Valhalla DLC on release.
God of War Ragnarok PC Port Will Feature All Post-Launch Content and PC-Exclusive Features
As mentioned, Ragnarok is all set to include the Valhalla DLC upon launch. PlayStation has confirmed this through a blog regarding the PC release of the game. For those who don’t know, the Valhalla DLC is a roguelite-inspired expansion to the original that features Kratos being tested by Tyr through trials in Valhalla.
The blog post also confirmed that God of War Ragnarok will feature the New Game+ mode on PC at launch. This will enable players to play through the game multiple times with the armor and other equipment they unlock throughout their journey. However, the game also grows more challenging with each new cycle to keep a certain level of difficulty intact.
However, God of War Ragnarok will also bring with it certain PC-exclusive features. This includes unlocked framerates and true 4K resolution, allowing you to experience the game’s signature no-cut camera through a brand-new lens. All of this is enhanced by the use of upscaling technology. This includes NVIDIA RTX Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), and Intel XeSS (Xe Super Sampling).
These, coupled with the Ultrawide Support, will allow you to explore the Nine Realms with breathtaking graphical outputs. With that being said, you can count on being a part of Kratos and Atreus’ journey in stunning detail when God of War Ragnarok releases on September 19.
