As mentioned earlier, One Punch Man season 3 will cover a portion of the Monster Association arc, the longest story arc in the series. Therefore, the upcoming season will not cover the entirety of it.  It’s hard to estimate how many chapters will be covered since the episode count has not been released yet. However, fans believe that the upcoming season will have a total of 12 episodes. This assumption is based on the episode count featured in the first two seasons. Both the earlier seasons only had 12 episodes each.

Assuming this is the case, fans can expect to see the full strength of the Monster Association. The likes of Homeless Emperor, Fuhrer Ugly, and Evil Natural could make their entries in the upcoming season. One Punch Man season 3 will kickstart by showcasing the much-anticipated fight between Garou, Royal Ripper, and Bug God. The trailer for the upcoming season featured snippets of this fight, and it’s clear that Garou will be the highlight of this season.

There are a couple of highlights from the Monster Association arc. However, One Punch Man season 3 might not cover these moments since they happen far into the arc. The fight between Saitama and Garou is the most entertaining aspect of the arc. Furthemore, this section of the story will feature Garou’s strongest transformation, making him the strongest antagonist to have ever fought Saitama.

Fans can expect the upcoming season to introduce God. This entity was the reason behind Homeless Emperor’s powers and Garou’s strongest transformation. Additionally, this being stood atop the moon showcasing just how massive and menacing he was. We will also see a horde of monsters who have great character design and an incredible set of powers that will push the heroes to their very limits. In fact, seeing Tatsumaki’s true potential was rather terrifying for the manga readers. There is a reason why Tatsumaki is one of the strongest S-class heroes in the One Punch Man series.
