How powerful is Daemon in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex? Taking a look at the former Kara member’s abilities in the manga
The Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga has introduced a host of characters during its course. This installation of the manga covers the events after the time skip. Boruto and other shinobis have shown considerable progress. Naturally, the antagonists introduced also grew stronger. There are plenty of characters who could give the protagonist a run for his money.
Daemon comes to mind when we think of strong antagonists. He was introduced early in the series. He is yet to make an appearance in the Two Blue Vortex installation. However, his return could spell disaster, should he pit himself against Boruto and other shinobis from Konohagakure.
Those who are not well-versed in the series might not know who he is. Those who know him might not be aware of his abilities. The question that every fan wants to know is this – how strong is Daemon? He is an exceptionally strong character who could take on Eida and defeat her.
How Powerful is Daemon in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex?
Daemon is an incredibly powerful character in the series, whose strength surpassed the likes of Jigen and other strong characters. There are very few characters who can take on Daemon and come out unscathed. He is a former member of Kara. Amado modified him, fitting his body with shinobiware and fragments of Shibai Otsutsuki’s DNA.
There aren’t many characters that have the abilities that he does. In fact, Eida admitted that Daemon could defeat him. She quite literally altered reality because she desired a particular outcome. This is the character that Daemon could potentially beat in the anime and manga series.
Daemon is powerful because of his innate ability to return the intended attack back to his opponent. This, combined with his exceptional hand-to-hand combat, makes him an extremely powerful foe. So far, no character has defeated him in the manga series.
Daemon’s Abilities in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex
Daemon is well-versed in Taijutsu. It is a method of fighting that only uses the limbs of the user. There are no weapons involved. Therefore, the attacks are generated purely from punches, kicks, and a combination of the two. He is among the strongest in this field, and Amado noted that his fighting skills surpassed Jigen’s. He quite literally broke his opponent’s neck in just one kick. Daemon subdued Code with little to no difficulty in the manga series.
However, his main ability lies in his Shinjutsu. He has access to Divine Techniques because Shibai Otsutsuki’s DNA is embedded in him. Any incoming physical attack gets reflected back onto his opponent. This is one of the most broken moves in the Boruto manga series. In fact, his opponents are in grave danger if they enter the battlefield with the intention of killing him. This is because the intention to kill also gets reflected.
This means anyone who attacks Daemon with the intention to kill him will die. This forces his opponents to fight without any killing intent. Furthermore, they must come up with ways to attack that aren’t purely physical in nature. This is why no one has defeated Daemon so far. Daemon has also demonstrated an ability to fly as well. He is a complete fighter who could take on some of the strongest opponents in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga series.
Daemon’s Most Notable Feats in Boruto
As mentioned earlier, Daemon hasn’t received much screen time in the anime and manga series. We have reason to believe that he is being built up to become an important antagonist in the manga. That being said, there have been flashes of brilliance that gave fans a glimpse of his powers. Code was introduced as the threat that would quite literally defeat some of the most powerful characters. Boro’s guards converged on Daemon, and they attempted to kill him. However, the killing intention is what caused their own demise. Daemon reflected their attacks onto the guards, killing them almost instantly. Following that, Code fought Kawaki, who had Isshiki’s powers. The latter activated Karma Mode and launched an attack on Code.
However, he pulled Daemon through the Claw Marks, instantly reflecting the attack towards Kawaki. Daemon was woken up, which means he wasn’t even conscious when he subdued Kawaki. This character was pitted against Code in the manga series. Fans didn’t know much about Daemon at this point. However, Daemon wiped the floor with Code in this fight. In fact, Daemon utterly outclassed Code, and there was nothing that the latter could do to counter him.
Daemon’s Role in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex
Currently, it’s hard to determine Daemon’s role. This is because he hasn’t received much screen time in the series. However, fans have reason to believe that he could be a supporting character. Currently, he doesn’t seem to have any problems with Konohagakure. He follows Eida, and she is currently an ally. She hasn’t attacked the village, and there haven’t been any indications. Therefore, Daemon would align himself with her and potentially provide support should Eida request some.
However, he could become a threat to Konohagakure should complications arise with Eida. This could be quite problematic because subduing him would take a lot of effort. Therefore, Daemon would either be a supporting side character or a minor antagonist in the series.
Conclusion
Daemon is a powerful character with a broken ability. However, his Shinjutsu could be countered if the attacks weren’t purely physical. His true powers haven’t been revealed at the moment. Fans are quite excited to see Daemon’s true abilities in the series. His role in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga will be determined by his true combat potential as well as how the Shinju situation will be resolved in the coming chapters.
