Pikkon and Goku partner up to destroy Frieza, King Cold, Cell, and the Ginyu Force.
Pikkon subsequently joins in the Other World Tournament, which took place in memorial of the loss of King Kai. He and Goku both qualify for the finals and engage in a violent battle to train with Grand Kai. Pikkon takes the upper hand at first but is outwitted by Goku and loses. In the Buu Saga, Pikkon trains alongside other departed warriors on the Grand Kai world. Upon the arrival of Kid Buu, Pikkon unwittingly angers him, placing himself in danger of death. Kid Buu almost destroys the Earth but sets off to locate Goku and Vegeta. Pikkon and others witness the climactic battle of Goku, Vegeta, and Kid Buu from a distance.
Pikkon’s Abilities and Techniques in Dragon Ball
Pikkon is the most powerful warrior in Universe 7’s West Galaxy. He battles with unmatched speed and accuracy. Despite wearing massively weighted gear, his motions are graceful. Grand Kai himself asked him to quash a rebellion in Hell. Pikkon easily overcame Frieza, King Cold, and Cell in short succession.
In the Other World Tournament, he comfortably reached the finals. He dominated Olibu and battled evenly with base Goku. When Goku went Super Saiyan, Pikkon held his own. He even survived Goku’s Super Kaio-ken. Goku himself confessed that Pikkon had no weak areas; thus, he had to mislead Pikkon in order to win.
Pikkon’s combat style is centered on speed and precision. He hovers in the air freely by using ki and launches tremendous energy blasts. His Burning Shoot is a swift and brutal close combat attack. He uses Hyper Tornado to trap opponents in a whirlwind of tremendous speed that slashes through bodily parts. His Kiai generates tremendous shockwaves to hit foes at range.
One of his most powerful attacks is the Thunder Flash Attack. He charges up energy, then releases a tremendous wave of fire. The attack demands great concentration yet produces heavy damage. Pikkon also adopts the Flawless Stance to decrease energy expenditure while increasing his power.
Pikkon’s other attacks are the Nova Strike-like, a blue energy shield for charging at adversaries. He also possesses the Super Energy Bomb, an energy ball that inflicts catastrophic damage. His Blazing Zephyr is a succession of kicks that send foes flying.
