One equally exciting but enigmatic new addition to the series is Saint Killingham. This figure has played an impactful role right from his first appearance, leaving fans with many questions. So, who is Saint Killingham in One Piece?
Rimoshifu Killingham is a member of the God’s Knights and a major antagonist in the Elbaph Arc. His Devil Fruit powers are extremely creative and have sent the entire country of Giants into disarray. Here is a closer look at this character.
Who Is Saint Killingham in One Piece?
Saint Killingham is a World Noble and part of the Rimoshifu family. He is a member of Shamrock’s God’s Knights and displays loyalty to his commander. At the same time, Killingham seems to be more easygoing and clumsier.
He has trouble with punctuality and can frequently fall asleep, much to the annoyance of those around him. Nevertheless, he has also been shown to be insightful, quickly pointing out issues with the God’s Knights’ plans in Elbaph and contributing to its solution.
Saint Killingham’s real appearance is not known, and only his hybrid Zoan form has been seen so far. However, being a villainous Celestial Dragon, he looks down on the common populace. Even during all the chaos among the Giants, he shares casual chats with the other God’s Knights.
Saint Killingham’s Strengths and Abilities
Saint Killingham has one of the most broken and impressive abilities in all of One Piece. His skill is the centerpiece of the God’s Knights’ plan in Elbaph. Killingham possesses the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin. This is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that makes the user a half-dragon hybrid with powers over dream manifestation.
Killingham has two main abilities through his Devil Fruit. The first can induce targets to fall asleep. He uses this to make the Giant’s children unconscious and sleepwalk to other locations. The more dangerous skill, however, is one where Killingham can make dreams materialize in reality.
In its most basic form, this can involve the creation of food items that taste delicious and have no calories. However, the more potent version can manifest monsters called MMA, based on the nightmares of targets.
These can notably be bigger than the Giants and cause immense destruction. While the MMA can be defeated through physical attacks, they present a psychological barrier by representing the opponent’s worst fears.
Along with this, Killingham has demonstrated high intellect and can utilize magic circles for instant transportation. While little else is known about his powers, he is a member of the God’s Knights, the elite guard of Sacred Mary Geoise. This serves as a testament to his strength and intimidating presence.
Saint Killingham’s First Appearance in One Piece
Shamrock and Gunko of the God’s Knights had originally come to Elbaph to recruit the Accursed Prince Loki to their group. By doing so, they’d be gaining a powerful member and could also bring all the Giants under their control.
However, once Loki refused, Shamrock brutally injured him and chose another method. This involved kidnapping the Giant’s children and causing Elbaph to crumble internally. To achieve it, he called for reinforcements. They finally arrived in chapter 1140 of the One Piece manga, with the series introducing Saint Killingham and Saint Sommers.
Killingham was seemingly late for a meeting and appeared visibly surprised to be brought to Elbaph. Soon after, Shamrock was summoned back and left the task to his subordinates.
Saint Killingham’s Role in the Elbaph Arc
As mentioned earlier, Saint Killingham is a primary antagonist in the Elbaph Arc, along with Gunko and Saint Sommers. He had been brought to the island by Shamrock to kidnap the Giant’s children.
However, Killingham soon noted how their victims couldn’t be transported using the magic circle since they didn’t have the mark to travel the Abyss. Hence, they would have to sail back with them. To this Shamrock pointed out how they could play a twisted game to achieve their objective. This game centered around Saint Killingham’s power, where he would put the Giant’s children to sleep.
Following this, Sommers would place his thorns on them, and Gunko would lead them toward the ships. Killingham’s contribution didn’t end there as he single-handedly made every Giant face their worst battles. By manifesting their nightmares, the residents of Elbaph were thrown into turmoil by the presence of ghosts, undead skeletons, giant wolves, and many more creatures.
While the entire island is in chaos, Killingham takes a break with Sommers and Gunko in the most recent chapter. His powers do not require his direct involvement, making him more fearsome due to his minimal effort.
