Asmongold has called out the World of Warcraft community for “bullying” PirateSoftware after he got two players killed in OnlyFangs server.

After Jason “PirateSoftware” was involved in the recent WoW controversy, the World of Warcraft community called out the streamer for his actions. For context, Jason participated in a raid alongside fellow streamers Snupy, Ozyfell, Sara, and Yamato.
During the raid, Sara and Snupy ended up dying due to mistakes made by the group. In Hardcore Mode, if a player’s character dies, it is permanently deleted. It is also referred to as “permadeath” in several games. Asmongold has provided his take on the situation and called out the WoW community for supposedly bullying PirateSoftware.
“Fixating around a person’s ego over a twenty-year-old video game so you can all get together and bully him into admitting that he made a mistake in the video game? Who the f**k does this? So weird.”

Zack also mentioned that this is the reason why he does not play World of Warcraft anymore. A viewer commented that Asmon should not comment on something he does not know. Responding to the comment, Asmongold stated that he knows more about the drama than most of the people. Zack had previously defended PirateSoftware, claiming that the raid leader had asked the group to run away.
Sodapoppin, a popular streamer and owner of the OnlyFangs guild chimed in to call out PirateSoftware for his plays. He stated that the viewers escalated the situation, and the drama had gone too far. Soda stated that Jason’s playstyle was terrible and that the group could have defeated the boss. He replied to PirateSoftware’s response and stated:
“‘Each person made mistakes, including myself.’ Okay. I mean, he’s got a point. Viewers are going way too far with it. His play was terrible, he ratted out hard. Despite that people, it’s getting crazy. It has gone really far.”
Fans React to Asmongold’s Calling Out the WoW Community
After a user posted a clip of Asmongold calling out the WoW community on X, many Reddit users speculated that he was targeting the r/LivestreamFails community. Some even mentioned that he is ignorant, similar to PirateSoftware, and has the whole situation wrong. Some users commented:
“For someone so deep in the wow community he’s really f**ing stupid on this issue he’s acting exactly like pirate software: pretending he’s the smartest guy on the topic lmao, people are criticising the lack of accountability and egomania not him being bad at wow lmao” commented @YungBruhForever.
“He’s right here. Fixating on it is pathetic. It’s honestly blowing my mind how much I’m seeing this “drama”.” commented @XWqVqTo8DK766r.
“Not gonna lie the whole thing was funny for a second but it makes you realize how toxic and content starved WoW streamers are.” commented @KFCmanager666
