Ubisoft has finally released their revamped Pre-Order Bonus structure for Assassin’s Creed Shadows across all platforms and it got fans of the franchise quite excited. After the backlash from the community, the publisher has made some significant changes including changing their expensive three-tier structure completely and abandoning the game pass that was originally planned to be a part of the AC Shadows.
Many fans are now considering Pre-Ordering the game to reap the new benefits such as armor sets, bonus quests, expansion pack and more. And if you also want to Pre-Order the game and wondering how you can do so, we got you.
In this article, we will go over all of the details on how you can pre-order Assassin’s Creed Shadows for PS5, Xbox, and PC.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Pre-Order Guide
Both of the new Editions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows are now live on all current-gen platforms for you to Pre-Order. The two Editions available are the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. We will go over what you will get in both of these editions soon, but for now, let’s talk about how you can Pre-Order them on PS5, Xbox, and PC.
For PS5 players, you will find the game on the PlayStation’s official store, and Xbox players will experience something similar. However, if you are on PC, you can Pre-Order Assassin’s Creed Shadows from Epic Games, Steam or Ubisoft Connect. Please keep in mind that regardless of your chosen digital store, you will need Ubisoft Connect to play the game.

PlayStation 5
- Start your PS5.

The Different Editions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Now, that you know how you can Pre-Order both editions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, it is time to discuss what the different versions offer. The two available Editions are the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition as we discussed earlier. Additionally, the Digital Deluxe Edition might be the costlier version, but many would argue that it is the best value for money option.
Pre-Order Bonuses for Assassin’s Creed Shadows Explored
As we discussed, for the Standard Edition, the bonuses are the Claws of Awaji Expansion pack and the Thrown to the Dogs bonus quest. If you Pre-Order this version of the game, then you will get early access to the Expansion Pack and the Bonus Quest. However, Ubisoft has confirmed that they will release both of the additional contents later in 2025 for everyone.
Lastly, let’s talk about the Digital Deluxe Edition. It contains both the Expansion Pack and The Bonus Quest, similar to the Standard Edition. But what sets it apart are the Mastery Points, the Skiryu Gearsets, and the Hideout Pack.
The Skiryu Pack was originally planned to be a part of the AC Shadows Gamepass, but after Ubisoft cancelled it, they decided to add the Sekiryu Dual Pack to the new Digital Deluxe Edition. And as for the Mastery Points, you can spend them on your in-game progression to gain a significant boost in the early stages.
Overall, both of the editions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows offer different Pre-Order Bonuses, and we will leave it up to you to decide which version of the game suits your taste the best.
