John Dave Rossel is a journalist at Deltias Gaming with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. He grew up playing Nintendo Famicom games and received his first PC as a gift in high school. He also enjoyed writing and ended up participating in many essay-writing contests. Hence, gaming journalism appealed to him as a career path. Before joining Deltias Gaming, John worked at AFK Gaming for five years. He provided live coverage for major Mobile Legends tournaments and had the privilege of interviewing many pro players, commentators, and community managers. As a writer, he prioritizes lucidity and transparency. He takes care to distinguish his opinions from facts. He conducts thorough research and is highly particular about his sources. John is a proud member of the MPL PH Press Corps, which contributes to the local esports community by hosting journalism workshops and assisting with behind-the-scenes efforts. John particularly loves gacha games and open-world sandbox titles. Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas, and Minecraft are a few of his favorite games due to their storytelling and potential for exploration.
