Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 will arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Mac in October 2024. The latest update arrived on PC today (September 5) and brought a plethora of new content, gameplay improvements, and bug fixes to better players’ in-game experience. Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 Arrives on Console and Mac in October 2024
The Patch 7 notes states:
“Mac and console players, this is one of those patches that is so packed with changes and new features – including official modding support for all platforms – that it’s going to take a little longer to get this patch through all the necessary technical checks and requirements and into your hands. Although later than we originally expected, Patch 7 is headed to console and Mac in October, and we will keep you updated with our progress! “
The release date for Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Mac is yet to be confirmed. For now, cross-saves from Patch 7 on PC will not be loadable for console players. Furthermore, PC and Mac won’t support multiplayer either.
Patch 7 brings new evil cinematics, changes to the Honor Mode, in-game Mod Manager and Toolkit, split screen improvements, and a host of tweaks and fixes. Larian Studios also confirmed that they are working on bringing crossplay and photo mode to Baldur’s Gate 3 in a future update, with “a few more patches” still up their sleeves.
