Ball X Pit is a brick-breaking-themed game with unlimited balls in your arsenal to shoot at enemies. You begin the game with a single power ball, which increases as the round progresses. The game includes three useful features that further strengthen the properties of these balls, each offering a unique type of enhancement.

Ball Transformations Overview in Ball X Pit
There are three different types of transformations you can perform in Ball X Pit: Fission, Fusion, and Evolution. Each provides its own style of upgrades. Let’s take a look at how each of them works.

Fission serves the primary purpose of randomly upgrading any of your currently equipped balls or perks by one level. There is a maximum cap of five items you can upgrade through a single Fission. The number of upgrades in one round of Fission depends on how many equipment items you currently have and what level they are at.
The maximum level for any equipment item is 3. So, if all eight of your slots, consisting of four balls and four perks, are already maxed out, this option will no longer appear unless you perform a Fusion or Evolution to free up a slot.

Fusion is the process of combining two balls and their properties to create something entirely new, unique, and more powerful. The requirement for this is that both balls must be at their maximum level of 3. Once the balls are fused, they can no longer be used for fusion again.

Lastly, Evolution is used to combine two balls to create a new evolved ball. What differentiates this from Fusion is that you cannot combine any two balls at random. Both balls need to be compatible and at their maximum level of 3. The evolved ball will hold a combination of powers possessed by both balls. It retains both properties while opening up a slot for a new ball.
