Assign a worker to certain buildings in Ball X Pit to automatically collect resources while you are out in the pit clearing levels.

Ball X Pit has you play inside the depths of a pit as you loot resources and defeat enemies through each stage. In correlation, your efforts and progress down in the pit are reflected by how well you manage the upper layer. This is where you get to plant and harvest resources, construct buildings, and unlock characters and stat boosts. There are also certain buildings where you can assign a character to harvest an additional boost of resources.

Assigning workers to a building is a wise move for the long run. While this act will reduce the number of characters you send out to harvest, it has its own perks. The workers will automatically, without your supervision, gather resources for as long as you are in the game. This results in a constant flow of materials while you are battling it out in the pits.

As you collect more resources and gold coins, you can also choose to upgrade your buildings. The more you upgrade them, the more resources your worker will be able to extract. The cooldown period to collect the resources will also be reduced considerably.

How To Assign a Worker To a Building

To assign a worker to a building in Ball X Pit, you can follow these simple steps.

1. First, build the specific building that needs assigning and harvest it to complete its construction.
2. Let us take the Farm building as an example. For this building, you can plant wheat farms around it. The worker will harvest any wheat farm that is directly touching the grid of the building.
3. Now, select the building and click on the big box under the text ‘Assigned Worker’.
4. You will see a list of your available characters. Choose a character that does not serve much purpose in the harvesting process to save a valuable resource. Some characters contribute heavily to harvesting, such as The Cogitator, who adds 2 seconds to the harvest clock when he is part of the run.
5. Once you select the character, they will automatically farm resources for you for a duration of time.
