Take on the Sabertooth boss battle in Ball X Pit by studying all its attack patterns and bring its reign to an end to clear the level.
The Sabertooth is the fifth main boss you will face in Ball X Pit. During the Gory Grasslands level, you will encounter two mini-bosses at different checkpoints before finally facing the Sabertooth as the last obstacle of the stage. The Sabertooth is an annoying enemy, considering its movement and the speed at which it covers distance. Once you defeat this boss, you will be able to advance.

Sabertooth Overview in Ball X Pit
Not for a single moment during this stage will the Sabertooth stay idle. It is constantly on the move with an arsenal of tricks up its sleeve. These are the three main attacks and strategies you can expect from the Sabertooth during this battle.
Deploying Mini-enemies
From the start, the Sabertooth will begin deploying mini-enemies from its side. This will remain a constant behavior throughout the battle. These enemies will become a nuisance once they start shooting flaming arrows at you. You will have to stay on the move to dodge them. They will also slowly make their way toward your side, so eliminate them quickly to avoid taking more damage before they reach you.
Forward Dash
This is one of the most dangerous tactics the Sabertooth uses. Depending on your last standing location, the Sabertooth will retreat to its side, mark a path, and charge forward toward your position. This move is quick, so move out of the way as fast as you can.
As it charges forward, it will also shoot a line of flaming arrows directed toward your last position. Dodging these is fairly easy; simply move up or down without panicking. Afterward, the Sabertooth will return to its original position.
Flaming Arrows
At times, the Sabertooth will use flaming arrows as well. The tricky part is predicting where it will shoot from next. Since the Sabertooth is always moving and can reach the halfway point of the grid, your escape options become limited.
All you can do here is keep your crosshair in a defensive position and shoot any arrows approaching you until it stops firing. Also, as mentioned above, keep moving to prevent multiple arrows from crowding toward you. It is easier to take down individual arrows than a cluster of them.
