From Conquest and Breakthrough to Rush and King of the Hill, here are all the game modes available in the Battlefield 6 open beta.

Battlefield 6 is the newest entry in Electronic Arts’ acclaimed military action shooter franchise. The highly anticipated title is set to release on October 10, 2025. The open beta for Battlefield 6 is scheduled for two weekends (August 9-10 and August 14-17), with early access beginning on August 7.
Battlefield 6 brings you more diverse ways to play with various modes, from the classic Conquest and Breakthrough to the new Escalation. The open beta provides an opportunity for players to experience most game modes for a limited time. If you are wondering what game modes will be available during the Battlefield 6 open beta, here is everything you need to know.
What Game Modes Will Be Available in Battlefield 6 Open Beta?
Weekend 1

The first week (August 7–10) of the open beta will feature the following game modes:
Conquest
Battlefield’s signature mode, where two teams fight to control multiple objectives spread across the map. As you control and hold more objectives, it drains the lives of the opposing team. The match will conclude once one team’s lives reach zero. While you can use tanks, jets, and helicopters, victory relies heavily on teamwork and coordination.
Closed Weapons Conquest
Follows the core mechanics of Conquest with a slight twist of class-locked weapons.
Breakthrough
Another classic mode in Battlefield is where maps are split into different sectors. The attackers push the front line forward by capturing all sectors. Attackers can capture a sector by holding all control points within it. On the other hand, the defenders’ goal is to stop the attackers or reduce their lives.
Domination
A fast-paced, close-quarters battle mode centered on infantry combat. The goal is to reach the point limit first. You can score points by capturing and holding multiple objectives.
King of the Hill
Another close-quarters battle mode, where squads fight to control a single capture point.
Weekend 2

In addition to all the modes included in Weekend 1, Weekend 2 (August 14–17) features the following:
Rush
A classic arm-and-defuse mode where teams battle for control of Military Communication Systems (M-COMs). While attackers plant bombs in the systems, defenders try to stop them or eliminate them.
Squad Deathmatch
An intense close-quarters deathmatch, where four squads compete against each other with the sole objective of reaching the kill target.
