All Game Modes in Battlefield 6
Rush

Rush is the perfect mix of big and small team game modes. In Rush, attackers and defenders clash for control of M-COMs. The attackers must plant explosives and destroy multiple targets across the map. On the other hand, defenders must stop the attackers from achieving their goal. A typical Rush match takes around 20 to 40 minutes.
Conquest

Conquest is the most popular game mode in Battlefield games. In this mode, both teams have 32 players, and their mission is to capture the flags. There are six flags scattered throughout a large-scale map, and both teams spawn on opposite sides. Your main objective is to capture as many flags as possible to earn points. The team with the most points claims victory.
Breakthrough

The scale of the Breakthrough mode is similar to Conquest. However, in this mode, there are two teams: attackers and defenders. Attackers try to capture objectives while defenders hold them back. If the attackers push through and reach the enemy base, they win. However, if attackers run out of respawns, they lose the match.

Domination

This is a classic game mode found in almost every multiplayer shooter. Two teams of eight players must capture the flags on the map. Both teams spawn at opposite flags and fight for the middle one. The first team to accumulate 200 points wins the match.
King of the Hill

This mode also involves two teams of eight players. In King of the Hill, a capture point spawns on the map, and players must capture and hold it. If no enemy team member is in the area, you gain one point per second. However, if an enemy soldier is present, neither team earns points. Your job is to hold the ground and prevent enemies from reaching the capture point.
Escalation

Escalation is a new game mode introduced in Battlefield 6. In this mode, both teams of 32 players fight over seven flags. Your task is to capture as many flags as possible to fill up the meter. Your team earns one point upon filling the meter. However, after a point is scored, the game removes one flag from the map. Therefore, the final stages of this mode become intense, close-range battles. The first team to score three points wins the match.
Team Deathmatch

Team Deathmatch is a classic multiplayer mode found across all shooter games. TDM has two teams of eight players, and their goal is to kill 100 enemies as quickly as possible. There are no vehicles in this mode, so you must rely on your weapons and equipment to score kills. The first team to reach 100 kills wins the match.
Squad Deathmatch

Unlike Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch features four teams of four players each. The first team to kill 50 enemies wins the match. This is an infantry-only mode with a small map, making it perfect for close-quarter combat enthusiasts.
Lastly, Electronic Arts is ready to bring the Battle Royale mode to Battlefield 6. The developers will launch Season 1 on October 28, 2025, and there are high chances that the Battle Royale mode will also be released with this update.
