Here’s how you can clear the Battlefield 6 campaign prologue mission, Always Faithful, and be the last man standing.

The opening mission, “Always Faithful,” throws you directly into a conflict between NATO and the Pax Armada, a private military corporation. You are Sergeant Dylan Murphy, a member of the Marine squad Dagger 1-3, and you are caught in a surprise ambush while your unit is being redeployed from a base in Georgia.
Below is a walkthrough that provides a detailed overview of what’s to come. Spoiler alert: the story begins on a pretty depressing note.

Always Faithful – Survive the Pax Ambush

As mentioned, the mission begins as Pax Armada catches everyone by surprise and launches a full-scale assault on your base. Your first objective is to fight your way out of the initial zone and escape the area.
You and your squad must navigate through the chaos, engaging Pax soldiers at multiple checkpoints. Be warned, the environment is filled with explosions and intense combat. You’ll be in a vehicle, and like every other shooter campaign, you know the drill.
Always Faithful – Plan Counterattack

After you make it out of the base, your next objective is to hunt down enemies. You rendezvous with the sniper squad and meet the team leader, Jackson, who has been closely watching “Site-2”.
The game now directs you to use a laser designator to call in an airstrike from “Lightning 1” on Pax armored vehicles and artillery. This is vital, or you won’t be able to proceed to the next objective.
Always Faithful – Destroy Servers to Protect Data

After you have completed the objectives, you need to fight your way into the base and destroy the servers. The Pax Armada is after NATO’s sensitive data, and your job is to stop them from capturing it.
First, you must clear the control room within Site 2, and then plant C4 across multiple support pillars. There will be a lot of enemies, and the fight will be intense.
Always Faithful – Prepare for EVAC

Once you have completed setting up demolition charges, your squad’s next goal is to get to the roof for helicopter extraction. As usual, you need to fight your way to the rooftop and wait for the “Duke-1-1” helicopter to arrive. You must hold off enemy reinforcements, and then, when the chopper arrives, evacuate.
If you’ve played previous Battlefield games, you get the vibe that this ain’t gonna be a happy ending. Unfortunately, Duke-1 is hit by a missile and crashes to the ground.
Always Faithful – Make Your Last Stand

After you crash down, you regain consciousness and find out that your entire squad is injured. At this point, the enemies are right next door, and you prepare for the final defense.
One by one, your teammates, Blake, Martinez, Travis, and Armstrong, are killed during the gunfire. As the last man standing, you make your final stand. You keep fighting until a friendly attack helicopter, with a minigun, shreds the Pax forces to oblivion. A crew member approaches you, pulls you aboard, and asks, ”No one else made it?” To that, you respond. It was just me, just me.
The mission concludes with a cutscene revealing the assassinations of NATO’s Secretary General, for which Pax Armada claims credit, setting the stage for the rest of the campaign.
