Battlefield 6 is chaos condensed into a map with 30+ players running around with state-of-the-art firearms. It is just as hectic as it sounds, and you’ll eat more than a fair share of bullets, and so will your buddies.

Should your buddies be on the receiving end of a deadly bullet, don’t lose hope. Battlefield 6 allows you to revive teammates while they’re downed, letting them get back into the fray. Reviving adds a layer of strategy to your game and is one of the main mechanics you need to master as a support player.  You can revive downed teammates in Battlefield 6 by approaching them and holding the ‘F’ key. This will initiate a small revive animation, and you can freely drag the teammate around during the animation. In fact, if there are enemies nearby, dragging your teammate to safety before reviving is advised.

While holding ‘F’ to revive is perfectly fine, it is a fairly slow animation, and you could easily be caught off-guard during it. To revive your teammates faster, use the Defibrillator. The Defibrillator is a class item exclusive to the support class.

To use the Defibrillator, equip it from your inventory and hold LMB to charge it. Once charged, quickly aim it at your teammate to give them a shock and revive them. The whole process takes about a second or two, and the revive is instantaneous.

We recommend using the Defibrillator whenever you can for the revive, as it is a lower risk method. If you aren’t in the support class, you can call for a support class teammate to come and revive the other player. However, note that the downed state is on a timer, and the player will die once it expires. You have to be quick with the revives to save your teammates.
