Battlefield 6 features some of the densest maps in the series, and running through its streets and alleys can be hectic more often than not. In such cases, the Recon class comes in clutch, as it allows you to take a step back and analyze the battlefield and move accordingly.

The Recon class excels at spotting enemies and taking fights from a distance. You’re essentially a sharpshooter for your team, or a quarterback if we were to put it that way. You help create openings for those on Assault, help breach enemy lines, and capture objectives. If you’re wondering how to play this class, this guide is for you.

Recon Class Overview in Battlefield 6

The Recon class’s main ability is that it can spot enemies automatically when aiming down sights. This ability is a lifesaver when trying to navigate your way through all the dust and debris. By spotting enemies, you can help your teammates push through all the chaos and eliminate targets. Apart from that, some of the other intriguing abilities include:

  • UAV Overwatch: Calls in an UAV and shows the location of all enemies within 100 meters for 60 seconds.
  • Confirmed Kill: Enemies eliminated with a headshot using a sniper rifle cannot be revived.
  • Target Acquired: Dealing damage to enemies automatically marks for all players in the team.

These are just some of the abilities that set this class apart. Needless to say, players who prefer to scout the battlefield and are willing to snipe their foes from a distance simply cannot go wrong with Recon.
