In this guide, we shall go over all the scopes that have glint in Battlefield 6, so you can select your loadout accordingly.

The Battlefield games have massive maps, which makes keeping track of players incredibly difficult. This is made worse when players decide to sit in a bush and hold angles, sniping away from a comfortable distance. This can be incredibly frustrating the first few times, but you can easily deal with it if you look out for the scope glint.
If you look in the distance on any map with snipers, you’ll see sparkling white lights. These lights are called glints and act as an indicator that a sniper is aiming at you. You can only see the glint if the sniper is aiming in your general direction, and the glint warns you to quickly take cover.
While this makes for a balanced experience, it may put the fear of God in any player who prefers to passively hold positions. Thankfully, the glint is not visible for all scopes and is only applicable to certain scopes in the game. We shall discuss this in detail below.

What Scopes Have Glint in Battlefield 6

As stated earlier, the scope glints warn you of snipers aiming in your direction. This is perfectly balanced, but may discourage non-snipers from playing passively and holding angles.
Thankfully, the glints are not on all scopes and are only applied to scopes with high magnification. This means you’ll be able to see the glint from the sniper scope, but not from a regular AR holo. If your gun has low magnification, you can comfortably play passive without the risk of your cover being blown.
The scopes that glint include 6x or higher magnification scopes, any of the sniper scopes, variable zoom scopes with max zoom, bolt-action rifle scopes, and more. As long as you don’t fall into any of these categories, your scope is free of glints.
