Battlefield 6 Will Include a Battle Royale Game Mode
The inclusion of the Battle Royale mode for Battlefield 6 was confirmed through the official teaser on X. According to the post, the new game mode is coming soon on Battlefield Labs, the testing server for the game.

On top of that, the Global Community Manager at EA, Kevin Johnson, also chimed in and confirmed the new game mode to the fans. According to him, you’ll be able to try out Battle Royale even if you are not part of the BF Labs program. This means you can experience the game mode in the Battlefield 6 Open Beta phase.

When Is the Battlefield 6 Beta Start Date?
The open beta phase will be held on two weekdays. The first one is set from August 9 to 10, 2025. The second phase will be from August 14 to 17, 2025. If you are itching to play the game, you can preload the Battlefield 6 beta as early as today.
What Is the Preload Size of Battlefield 6 Beta?
In general, the preload size of the Battlefield 6 beta is around 35 GB. However, based on your platform, the file size may change, with the PC having the biggest possible file size of 39 GB. Furthermore, based on your hardware, the file size for PC can also be lower if it doesn’t support high-resolution assets. Keep in mind that the file sizes do not reflect the size of the full game on release day. This is only for the beta version of Battlefield 6.
