Battlefield RedSec runs well on older hardware, such as RTX 30 Series cards. Even with an RTX 3050, you will be able to enjoy this battle royale experience. Since the game is vastly different from a regular battlefield, frame rate matters, yes. However, visibility is one key aspect of the game.

You have to spot weapons and enemies, and always be one step ahead. Otherwise, you will be constantly hunted by other players and teams. By default, the game looks amazing; however, the settings below do not alter the game’s look and feel much, but greatly enhance visibility.

Note: The game is highly CPU-intensive; you will require a powerful CPU to play it. We recommend pairing the Ryzen 5 7600X or higher with any RTX 30 Series GPU to ensure seamless gameplay and compatibility.

For the RTX 3050 and up to RTX 3060 Ti, we recommend playing the game at 1080p with these settings. Since we are using DLAA, we are being a bit conservative with specific options, such as Local Light and Shadow and several other quality settings.

DLAA is more intensive than native resolution and heavier on the GPU. Still, in return, it cleans up temporal instability, shimmering, and artifacting in the image, making it look better. With RTX 3070 and RTX 3070 Ti, you can opt for 1440p and see how things fare.

On RTX 3080 and higher, you can seamlessly play at 1440p resolution. With the RTX 3090 and RTX 3090 Ti, you can go for 4K, but it’s not recommended. If you really like playing at 4K, use DLSS, but be warned that the image may look a little softer than with DLAA.
