Battlefield RedSec: How To Add Friends

Here’s how you can add friends and people you meet online from any platform using EA Connect in Battlefield RedSec.

Battlefield RedSec is the latest free to play Battle Royale that will be available to all players over the internet. Those who have bought Battlefield 6 can pre-download the game and play at launch. However, for free-to-play players, the global release times can be found here. Here’s how you can add friends and play with them (Cross-platform) in Battlefield RedSec.

Adding Friends in Battlefield RedSec

Here are the steps to add your friends in Battlefield RedSec:

• In the in-game menu of Battlefield RedSec, find the Socials Tab at the bottom right. Alternatively, if you’re on a console, you can press the right trigger to navigate to the Social Menu.
• Navigate to the third menu inside the socials tab. You’ll find a Player Search/Invitations tab.
• Enter the EA player ID or name to add them. If your friends are playing on separate platforms, using their EA ID is recommended. Also, make sure to enter the platform-specific name to find your friends.
• Once you confirm the request, your friend can navigate to the same menu and confirm the request through the Invitations Tab.
• You can also search for your friend using their ID name and the platform they’re playing on. The EA socials tab will automatically recommend players with similar names and mention their platforms.
• You can now invite your friends to join your squad (Limited to 4 currently)
• Additionally, if you want to add players from recent games, you can find the Recent Players Menu and send a friend request to them.
• Using the Socials Menu, you can also view their profile (For any platform).

Can’t Find Your Friend in Battlefield RedSec?

If you cannot find your friend in Battlefield RedSec, here are some possible errors that might have occurred:

• Make sure that the EA Play ID or name is correct, and make sure everything is capitalized correctly.
• If you cannot find them still, search using their platform specific tag. You can also view the players with the same tag and look for them there.
• If all of this does not work, tell your friend to look for your username, and they can add you.

Currently, you can play in quads (Four People in a squad) in Battlefield RedSec.
