Wondering if Battlefield RedSec has a solo mode? Here’s everything you need to know about all the modes that are currently in the game.

Unfortunately, no, Battlefield RedSec doesn’t have a solo mode at the moment. If a solo experience is what you seek, then Multiplayer in Battlefield 6 is your best bet. Even then, you must work with your squad in the traditional modes such as Conquest. As for RedSec, the game currently features three modes. They are Gauntlet, Battle Royale Duos, and Quads.
Read on to learn more about each available game mode in Battlefield RedSec at launch.
All Game Modes in Battlefield RedSec
As just mentioned, Battlefield RedSec currently features three game modes. They are:
- Gauntlet (32 players)
- Battle Royale Duos (100 players)
- Battle Royale Quads (100 players)
There’s also a fourth mode called Portal. However, it is meant as a sandbox experience and isn’t a part of the regular Battlefield RedSec experience. Hence, it has been omitted here. Nevertheless, let us take a closer look at each of these three modes and what they entail.

Gauntlet

This isn’t your typical battle royale experience. Here, 32 players (8 teams of 4 players each) compete across four missions or rounds. After each round, the two squads with the lowest score are eliminated. Players can earn points by completing missions, getting eliminations, and reviving teammates. In the fourth or the final round, only two teams are left. The team that scores the most wins the match of Gauntlet.
Battle Royale Duos and Quads

This is your traditional battle royale mode. 100 players drop into Fort Lyndon to be the last team standing. If you are playing Battle Royale Quads, you will be competing against 24 other teams. Likewise, if you play Battle Royale Duos, you’ll be competing with 49 other teams. The goal here is simple. Survive and be the last team to make it out of the battlefield alive.

That covers all the available modes in Battlefield RedSec at the moment. DICE has yet to make a solo playlist available in the shooter. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be in the shooter forever. If there is sufficient demand for a Solo mode, developers might just introduce it later during the season or with a future seasonal update.
