Jimmy “MrBeast” is currently trending after releasing the first two episodes of his Beast Games. For those out of the loop, Jimmy collaborated with Prime Video for the first time to host a game show that will feature a whopping 1,000 contestants. The prize money is $5 million, which is dubbed as the highest cash prize on any show ever. Despite the excitement around the show, there has also been a litany of allegations against the event and Jimmy.

MrBeast and Prime Video also faced a class action lawsuit from some of the participants, who accused them of harassment, not providing proper rest, and not giving their due payments. Despite these allegations, some contestants have come forward to defend the YouTuber. One of them was Kevin Eloy. He dismissed the allegations, stating:

“There wasn’t anything hostile about our working conditions. All our needs were met, we got enough food, we had enough calories and we were given ample amount of time to sleep. It was up to you to use this time to go to sleep and not be having a conversation through all hours of the night.”

Eloy also claimed that he had received medication, seemingly rejecting the allegations that MrBeast and his team had taken away the participants’ medications. He said:

“I had nasal spray in my pocket the entire time. The staff knew, the crew knew, the production knew and everyone was okay with it. Now if that was the case about nasal spray, don’t you think it would be even more so the case about things that were more serious?”

He added:

  • “Everything for taken care of and people will still find a reason to complain and say that it wasn’t enough. Were there some hiccups? Of course. But you try putting 2000 people in a stadium for a week, feed them, and film without anything going wrong.”

Not the Only Contestant To Defend MrBeast

Kevin Eloy wasn’t the only participant from the Beast Games to defend MrBeast. Despite the allegations of misconduct and harassment, other contestants also came forward, sharing positive experiences about the show.

Another contestant, Peter Esaltare, came forward and stated that the allegations were blown out of proportion, despite a few participants getting hurt. He wrote:

“I didn’t hear of anyone getting hurt in the Prime show, just a few in the Vegas (2000-1000) portion. Again, I hate that people got hurt but everyone knew what they were signing up for and they did it anyway.”

Another contestant, Haley Sheldon, said:

“It was a ton of fun! We all made life long friends and I never felt unsafe once. My experience like many others was great!”
