Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson’s Beast Games reality show is under investigation by the Ontario Labor Ministry, according to reports. An individual working on the show’s set was allegedly injured by falling wood on September 11, 2024.

Blink 49 Studios and Manhattan Beach Studios, the two companies that hired the crew, are facing scrutiny. YouTuber Rosanna Pansino, who has criticized MrBeast and Beast Games in recent months, claimed that more information about the injury is coming.

Journalist Steven Asarch made a series of tweets revealing potential details about the investigation. He also shared a video by a contestant manager from Las Vegas, who reportedly quit the set due to problems at the Beast Games set.

Canada’s Ontario Labor Ministry Is Investigating Beast Games

According to a report by Canadian news outlet CP24, a worker was allegedly injured by falling wood on September 11, 2024. The incident occurred at the Beast Games set near Downsview Airport. The outlet stated:

“The labor ministry did not share the extent of the person’s injuries, citing the ongoing investigation, but it says the employers – Blink 49 Studios and Manhattan Beach Studios – were each issued a ‘requirement.’ A ministry spokesperson did not say what that was.”

The incident was publicly reported first by Steven Asarch. He tweeted the following on September 18, 2024:

“I can now confirm that at the end of filming on Sep 11, a 6-foot by 6-foot piece of the tower at the Beast Games fell on a crew member. Emergency services were called, and they were brought to the hospital where they still remain. A MrBeast spokesperson declined to comment.”

MrBeast and other members of the show’s production crew have not commented on the recent reports so far.

MrBeast’s Show Is Facing Multiple Allegations

On September 16, 2024, five contestants filed a class action lawsuit against the Beast Games production team. The allegations presented include inadequate payments, sexual harassment, tax credit violations, poor working conditions, emotional distress, and other charges. Readers should note that the lawsuit stems from issues with filming conditions during the qualifiers in Los Angeles, not from the main show in Canada.

In a separate incident, contestant Amanda Rose posted a YouTube video alleging she suffered a traumatic brain injury on the Beast Games set. Her video received widespread coverage, with news websites and content creators covering her side of the story.
