A brand new RPG has launched on Roblox. Dungeon Heroes has already amassed over 2 million visits since its launch on April 16, 2025. It is a dungeon-crawling RPG where players explore dungeons, fight monsters, and defeat bosses under time limits. Doing so will earn them loot, help with leveling up, and unlock new skills, weapons, and pets.
Since it’s a new game, not a lot of information is readily available. This article will provide a comprehensive guide for beginners to Dungeon Heroes on Roblox.
How To Play Dungeon Heroes Roblox (Beginner’s Guide)
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to play Dungeon Heroes Roblox:
- Step 1: Launch the game via the Roblox app or website. The first thing you will notice is the lobby. Here, you can either follow the blue trail to go to the different dungeons or click on the “Dungeons” logo (on the right side of the screen) to see the available dungeons.
- Step 2: Currently, there are five dungeons (Shattered Forest, Orion’s Peak, Deadman’s Cove, Flaming Depths, and Mosscrown Jungle). It is recommended to start with the Shattered Forest.
- Step 3: After clicking on the dungeon, you will need to select a difficulty (Normal, Medium, Hard, or Insane) and a player count (1-5).
What Will You Get After Doing a Dungeon Run?
Completing a dungeon run rewards you with loot, keys, armor, weapons, and stardust. Higher difficulty levels yield better gear and more rewards. Keys are crucial for merging and rolling pets to enhance their strength (you can also earn Keys by completing daily quests).
Skill Crates: Keys can also be used to open skill crates in addition to merging and rolling pets. Each dungeon contains five skill crates, available across levels 1 to 15. For example, to open one skill crate in the Shattered Forest dungeon, you need 10 keys.
Pets: You can use keys to level up or merge pets in Dungeon Heroes. For instance, merging up to five Obsidian Knight pets requires 12 keys. Leveling up pets boosts their attack and overall stats.
How To Get Stardust in Dungeon Heroes Roblox
Stardust (or Magic Dust) is a key resource alongside Keys, represented by a purple logo in the top-right corner of the screen. You can earn Stardust by selling items in the lobby. Use Stardust to level up your pets and boost their stats.
Stardust is also used not only to level up pets but also to reroll item stats. If you want to preserve a specific stat on an item during rerolling, you can use the “Lock” button. This feature allows you to reroll other stats associated with the item while keeping the locked stat unchanged.
Shop
You can also access the shop to buy Chests. However, these will require “Crystals,” which can only be purchased with Robux (paid).
Codes
Currently, there are no active codes or a code redemption system. Check the game’s Roblox page or Discord channel for future code announcements.
