If you want the best Center build in NBA 2K25, we have a guide for a 2-Way 3-Level Scoring Threat, with a breakdown of all attributes.
A Center build in NBA 2K25 stands out for its physical attributes and strength. The ideal build will have you block effectively and even keep up with shorter players. In light of that, we’ve prepared the perfect Big Man build that also excels in dunks and post fades.
So, here’s a complete breakdown of all the attributes you need for this Center build in NBA 2K25, along with what Badges you get to unlock, and more.
Center Build in NBA 2K25: 2-Way 3-Level Scoring Threat
The Center is usually the tallest player on any team, and we’ve ensured that with a 7’0″ height for our build. To excel at offense, our Center build has high Close Shot, Driving Dunk, Standing Dunk, and Post Control. Meanwhile, in keeping with the usual defending techniques for a Center, you’ll get impressive blocking and rebounding ability.
This NBA 2K25 build is also a decent shooter, with Mid-Range Shot being over 90 and Three-Point Shot being over 80. You’ll have plenty of Gold Badges where it counts, along with two Hall of Fame Shooting Badges. Finally, you’ve got room for improvement with Cap Breakers, which let you raise an attribute beyond its maximum potential.
Attributes Needed For This Center Build
Here’s our attribute breakdown for our Big Man Center build, along with small explanations of why you need them:
Physical attributes
- Position: Center — Choose Center as we’re obviously creating a Center build here.
- Height: 7’0″ — You’d want your Big Man to be as tall as possible without going overboard. So, a 7’0″ height is perfect here.
- Weight: 225 lbs — The weight is on the lower end here as we want that extra boost to Speed, Agility, and Speed With Ball attributes.
- Wingspan: 7’0″ — The wingspan here might seem low, but there isn’t much difference on gameplay if you go higher than this. So we’re sticking with 7’0″.
Scoring
- Close Shot: 89 — This is a vital attribute for a Center build. Keep this high to get the Paint Prodigy (Silver), Float Game (Gold), and Hook Specialist (Bronze) Badges.
- Driving Layup: 64 — This attribute isn’t as important as Close Shot, since you’ll be relying more on your Standing Layups.
- Driving Dunk: 84 — Max this out so that you can get access to all the necessary animations. You’ll also get access to the Bronze Aerial Wizard Badge.
- Standing Dunk: 90 — The Center build relies more on dunks, so you’d want this to be high. This will also unlock the Silver Rise Up Badge.
- Post Control: 84 — This will unlock Post-Up Post (Silver) and upgrade your Hook Specialist Badge to Gold.
Shooting
- Mid-Range Shot: 93 — With this build, we’ll be focusing a lot on Post Fades. So, this attribute will get you Hall of Fame level Post Fade Phenom and Set Specialist, along with Gold Deadeye.
- Three-Point Shot: 83 — Keeping this at 83 will ensure you get the Limitless Range Badge.
- Free Throw: 77 — 77 will be more than enough here.
Playmaking
- Pass Accuracy: 54 — You can skip out on Pass Accuracy and come back to it later after you’re done with the next three sections.
- Ball Handle: 71 — This rating will unlock the Handles for Days Badge, which will help you preserve stamina when dribbling.
- Speed with Ball: 63 — You’ll want to max this out, as we went for a lighter build to get this attribute as high as possible.
Defending
- Interior Defense: 80 — Defense is obviously quite important for this build, and this will unlock the Off-Ball Post (Silver) Badge.
- Perimeter Defense: 41 — You don’t need this to be any higher with this build.
- Steal: 39 — Keep this for last, once you’re done with all other attributes.
- Block: 93 — Max this out because we’re aiming to get the Gold levels of Paint Patroller and High-Flying Denier. Coupled with the rest of your defense stats, this should make you an excellent defender.
Rebounding
- Offensive Rebounding: 80 — Much like Defense, Rebounding will also be another strong point for this build.
- Defensive Rebounding: 85 — Keep this slightly higher, and these ratings will help you get Bronze Pogo Stick and Silver Rebound Chaser.
Athleticism
- Speed: 71 — Get this to 71 to keep up with all sorts of players in the court.
- Agility: 64 — We sacrificed some weight for Speed and Agility, so you’re going to want to max this out.
- Strength: 83 — It wouldn’t be a proper Big Man build without high Strength, so get this up to 83. You’ll unlock a Gold Boxout Beast, Silver Brick Wall and Post Powerhouse, along with a Bronze Post Lockdown.
- Vertical: 80 — Take this up to 80 to upgrade High-Flying Denier to Gold. Aerial Wizard and Rise Up will also be upgraded to Gold, Pogo Stick will be upgraded to Silver, and you’ll unlock Posterizer.
