Discover 5 heroes who can be awesome teammates of Star-Lord in Marvel Rivals. Team up with these heroes to have a wonderful match.
Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, and his element guns are taking Marvel Rivals by storm. He can eliminate key targets while gliding effortlessly across the map. Although he is agile and can use his rockets to evade incoming attacks, Star-Lord is very squishy. Building a solid team around him is a must, allowing him to shine and deal damage while maintaining distance.
Let’s explore which heroes work as excellent teammates for our beloved member of The Guardians of the Galaxy. As each team consists of six players, we will pick two from each Class, except for Duelist (Star-Lord is a Duelist himself). Excited to learn who the other Duelist is? Let’s go!

Heroes That Are Awesome Teammates for Star-Lord
Strategists
1. Adam Warlock
Like Star-Lord, Adam Warlock is also a two-star difficulty hero. He is a wonderful strategist with healing and damage-sharing abilities. He can also revive fallen teammates and can poke at opponents from a distance.
With the Team-Up ability, Soul Perseverance, both Adam and Peter can self-revive. This enables Star-Lord to be aggressive in battle albeit being squishy.
2. Mantis
Another Strategist who can heal and boost damage is Mantis. This other member of the Guardians of the Galaxy has an Ultimate ability that provides massive healing and can withstand even focus fires. She possesses crowd control abilities as well, by making enemies fall asleep. Gap closers like Spiderman would have a hard time attacking if Mantis is on the opponent team.
She is also a beneficiary of Adam Warlock’s Soul Perseverance. Having all three of them in a team highly increases its defensive capabilities. A full team-wipe would only constitute a “half team-wipe.”
Vanguards
3. Venom
Edward “Eddy” Brock, aka Venom, is arguably the best Vanguard in the game right now. With mobility, a massive health pool, close combat prowess, and crowd control—Venom is almost unstoppable at the frontlines. He has a three-star difficulty level.
While Venom starts closing the gap between the enemy heroes and slowing them with his AoE ability, Cellular Corrosion, Star-Lord can keep his distance and fire away.
4. Doctor Strange
Another Vanguard with a three-star difficulty level who pairs well with Star-Lord is Doctor Strange. The Sorcerer Supreme excels at transporting himself and his team through portals, which comes in handy in both offensive and defensive situations.
Doctor Strange also deals respectable damage and can protect his team with the mighty Shield of the Seraphim ability. With 800 HP, this shield blocks all incoming attacks. So, Doctor Strange can aid Star-Lord both in keeping his distance and from incoming attacks.
Duelist
5. Black Widow
Star-Lord’s accuracy falls off in long-range battles, but Black Widow shines in this regard. Armed with her trusty sniper rifle, the Avenger is good at taking down distant targets. With a four-star difficulty level, she may be tricky to master. However, once you get the hang of it, you will love scoring those rewarding headshots from a distance.
