Everything you need to know about the best Ironeye build for the Enhanced Sentient Pest boss (Everdark Sovereign) in Elden Ring Nightreign.

In terms of pure DPS, Ironeye is easily overshadowed by other Nightfarers in Elden Ring Nightreign. However, despite being an archer, Ironeye is regarded by many as one of the most powerful classes in the game, by a long margin. And while the class might look a tad intimidating at first, it’s actually fairly easy to use. Ironeye’s Character Skill, Marking, alone makes it a formidable Nightfarer. In fact, if you want a guaranteed victory against most Nightlords, even the enhanced ones, Ironeye is the best choice. That holds true even for the Enhanced Sentient Pest. With the right set of Relics, you can easily make Ironeye dish out a ton of damage to Gnoster, and defeat it rather quickly.
Here’s a comprehensive guide on the best Ironeye build for Elden Ring Nightreign, and how to use it to easily defeat Enhanced Sentient Pest.
Overview of the Best Ironeye Build for Enhanced Sentient Pest in Elden Ring Nightreign

For this build, we’re focusing on two things – elemental damage and survivability. For elemental damage, we’re using Fire, courtesy of Gladius’s Relic. And for survivability, we’re using Vigor-boosting Relics, such as Augur’s Relic. We have also worked on Dark Fulghor’s Relic, which increases the power of added affinity attacks and maximum Stamina. With Ironeye, your biggest hurdle would be to manage Stamina. However, with Fulghor’s Relic, you’ll get a substantial boost in Endurance, right from the get-go. We haven’t used an Ironeye-specific Relic in this build.
However, if necessary, you can work additional Character Skill usage or Ultimate Art cooldown Relics in this build. Also, we should mention that this build works great against both Gnoster and Faurtis. Regardless of which boss your teammates want to prioritize, you’ll be dishing out good damage, while also occasionally staggering Gnoster.

How To Use the Ironeye Build Against the Enhanced Sentient Pest?

Here are some tips to help you properly use the best Ironeye build against the Enhanced Sentient Pest:
- With Ironeye, you seldom want to take the boss’s aggro; as such, we highly recommend picking up at least one armament that has the Less Likely To Be Targeted passive buff. Additionally, Increased Affinity Damage and Physical Damage Negation help when using Ironeye.
- Phase 1 shouldn’t be too much of a hassle for Ironeye, as long as you keep your starting armament upgraded to Epic rarity. That said, you want to save your Ultimate for Phase 2. Additionally, make sure to mark the boss occasionally.
- In Phase 2, you ideally want to target Gnoster as it has less overall HP. However, if your teammates are using melee characters, it’s probably best to focus on Faurtis. Also, remember to not spam your Ultimate Art, as it can be used to revive allies as well.
- Lastly, remember that Ironeye’s Character Skill and Ultimate Art, both have i-frames and can be used to get away from tricky situations. Also, with Augur’s Relic, you should be safe from most of Gnoster’s regular attacks.
