These are the optimized settings for playing Cyberpunk: 2077 and the Phantom Liberty DLC, with RTX 5070 at 1440p.

The RTX 5070 is a mid-range GPU with 12GB of VRAM, released in 2025. It’s a direct replacement for the RTX 4070 Ti, RTX 4070 Super, and RTX 4070. There is notable performance improvement over the RTX 4070, but as a replacement for the 4070 Super, it’s pretty underwhelming.

That said, if you wish to crank every setting to its absolute max at 1440p and then play Cyberpunk, you will likely run out of VRAM, but with these settings, you will be able to enjoy the game, and might as well play with a bit of RT.

Note: The RTX 5070 is best paired with a Ryzen 5 7600X CPU. CPU performance below this tier will likely cause bottlenecks, specifically when RT is enabled.

A few keynotes to consider:

  • If you want to use RT, you can, but you should only look forward to the low settings.
  • DLSS FG and MFG options are there, but you will run out of VRAM in Phantom Liberty, as the DLC is more taxing than the base game.
  • Native settings are mentioned here, but only for Raster. If you prefer playing with upscaling, you can use the DLSS Transformer model, which provides image quality very close to native while significantly increasing the FPS.
  • Using Pathtracing with this tier GPU is not recommended.
