The RX 7700 XT is a 12GB RDNA 3-powered mid-range budget GPU from the RDNA 3 era. It’s a worthy upgrade from the 6700 XT and matches the performance of the RX 6800. In Cyberpunk: 2077 and the Phantom Liberty DLC, you can use the settings below to play the game at native 1440p and stay above 60FPS.

Note: The RX 7700 XT requires a CPU within the Core i5 12400F or Ryzen 5 5600X performance territory to run without CPU bottlenecks.

A few keynotes to consider:

  • Do not enable RT with the RX 7700 XT, as using it will severely hamper performance. Even with upscaling (FSR 2.1 or with Optiscaler mod), the image quality and framerate on offer won’t be worth it.
  • Frame Generation is there and can be enabled, but for the best results, you should use the Optiscaler mod to do it.
  • With these settings, you should have sufficient headroom to add in cinematic lighting mods from Nexus Mods.
