The RX 7800 XT is a mid-range 1440p gaming GPU from the RDNA 3 era. It was released as a direct answer to the RTX 4070. In terms of RT performance, the card lagged, but when it came to Rasterization, its performance and value forced the launch of the 4070 Super. When it comes to Cyberpunk, you can enjoy native 1440p 60FPS with rasterization, and the settings below paint the same picture.

Note: The RX 7800XT requires a CPU with a Core i5 13400F or Ryzen 5 7500F tier to avoid CPU bottlenecks.

A few keynotes to consider:

  • Enabling RT with this GPU is not recommended, as the performance will tank severely
  • If you need even higher framerates, you can toggle FSR 2.1 upscaling or use the Optiscaler mod. Using FSR 3 will negatively impact image quality.
  • You can use mods to enable RT, but it’s not recommended. However, you can try enabling texture mods such as Ultra Texture Remaster Repack or more.
