Here are the best settings for Enshrouded to dial in with your RDNA 3 powered AMD RX 7700 XT, 7800 XT, and RX 7900 GRE GPUs.

AMD uses a standard monolithic design for the RX 7600 and XT but switches to an MCM design with the RX 7700 XT and beyond, stacking chiplets to build the GPU core. Both the 7700 XT and 7800 XT replaced the popular 6800 series with even better raster and RT performance. The 7900 GRE slots between the 7800 XT and the 7900 XT, offering approximately 10–15% better overall game performance.
Speaking of Enshrouded, we have sufficient 12GB and 16GB of VRAM to push high-quality shadows and textures. However, the RDNA 3 isn’t that much faster than its RDNA 2 counterpart, so going overambitious with settings will result in frame drops in NPC-heavy areas, such as hollow halls, clearing shroud tree dungeons, etc. We’ve tuned the settings to your liking, which will balance the visuals and deliver a strong performance.
Best Settings for RX 7700 XT, 7800 XT, and RX 7900 GRE in Enshrouded (1440p / 4K Optimized)

In my previous article for the RDNA 2 6800 and 6800 XT, I discussed and recommended drivers for that particular architecture; however, in the case of RDNA 3, we have both monolithic and MCM modules, meaning a lot is going on beyond our notice, which is why every GPU this time has a different driver suggestion. Many gamers have encountered incorrect light rendering within the game, which has happened with multiple AMD driver releases.
I strongly recommend doing the trial and error yourself between the latest PRO and WHQL drivers to see which suits you best. Also, use the LiaNdrY/Enshrouded-Tool-Fix to fix lighting problems if you encounter them, Vulkan API issues, and plenty more. You can download it manually from GitHub or use the method below to get it. Lastly, you can switch between Native AA and upscaling. All of these mentioned GPUs can easily play Enshrouded at native 1440p. In the case of 4K, it’s best to use upscaling.
