The 6600 XT and 6650 XT from the RDNA 2 generation deliver an incredible 1080p gaming experience, and the same can be said for Stellar Blade. However, the 8GB VRAM is a significant limitation of the card’s capabilities. The settings below would give you a consistently smooth experience of 60+ FPS, even in NPC-heavy areas, at resolutions of 1080p and 1440p with upscaling.

A few keynotes to consider:

  • Please do not modify the texture settings as mentioned here; these are extremely important for maintaining the game within the 8GB VRAM limit.
  • Ensure you have RTSS (MSI Afterburner) installed, so that you can check your VRAM usage. If the VRAM usage exceeds 8GB, the game will gradually become unplayable.
  • Be very careful with Frame Generation, the 8GB pool will likely get in the way, as FG has a significant overhead on your VRAM.

Verdict

That concludes the RX 6600 XT best settings guide for Stellar Blade. Suppose you are using either of the GPUs, such as even a 6600 non-XT or 6650 XT. Consider using these settings as a starting point. The 6600 is a little slower, but it is capable nevertheless. Once you start adjusting, the rest of the VRAM application remains the same. Lastly, enable FG only if you have sufficient headroom.
