Marvel Rivals is a hero shooter with some of the best skins available for purchase. Without a doubt, one of the reasons behind the cosmetic success of the game is the star-studded roster of Marvel heroes and villains. However, some of the skins are particularly good at captivating players. Despite being a live-service game, Marvel Rivals occasionally offers free cosmetics. There are also around ten skins included in each Battle Pass, both free and premium. For now, we will focus only on the best costumes that are buyable using Units.

Best Skins in Marvel Rivals

Please note that this list is neither official nor ranked. Moreover, it reflects the writer’s opinions, so you may not agree with the following skins in Marvel Rivals being considered the best in the game:

  • Psylocke Blood Kariudo
  • Iron Man Steam Power
  • Star-Lord King of Spartax
  • Magneto Master of Magnetism
  • Jeff the Land Shark Incognito Dolphin

We have tried to include a variety of roles while selecting these skins. So far, the list features three Duelists, one Vanguard, and one Strategist. If you are wondering about the details and why these costumes are on the list, continue reading below.

1. Psylocke Blood Kariudo

Marvel Rivals introduced a new look for Psylocke. Her origin story is quite different from what we have seen in X-Men shows and movies. Moreover, her appearance is also very unique. Although the developers gave us a comic-accurate skin for Psylocke, it doesn’t compare to the Blood Kariudo costume. This was first introduced as a cosmetic in Marvel Rivals Season 1. While it retains some elements from the default Psylocke skin, it features a gothic touch that I love about the character.

2. Iron Man Steam Power

Iron Man has always been about futuristic weapons, tools, and suits. When we imagine the “future,” we usually think of a cyberpunk theme. But what if Iron Man used steampunk technology? The result is the Steam Power skin in Marvel Rivals. It’s a unique look for Iron Man, which is why it deserves a spot on this list. Fans first saw it during beta testing before the official release of the game, and it finally returned to the Store in Season 1.

3. Star-Lord King of Spartax

Marvel Rivals hasn’t overlooked Star-Lord in terms of cosmetics since the game’s full release. The leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy already has plenty of costumes to choose from—some free and others paid. One of the premium options was introduced at the start of Season 2, where Peter Quill appears in his King of Spartax attire. He wears this outfit to match the Hellfire Gala theme. The overall look is regal, and even the elemental guns are intricately designed.

4. Magneto Master of Magnetism

Magneto has all the traits of a classic “tank” character in a hero shooter. He is a true Vanguard in every sense. One of his best skins in Marvel Rivals is the Master of Magnetism. This comic-accurate outfit looks excellent on his character. The colors complement his personality as both an anti-hero and a top-tier villain. This skin has been available in the game since Season 0.

5. Jeff the Land Shark Incognito Dolphin

Jeff the Land Shark might not be the most stylish or striking Strategist, but the Marvel Rivals community adores him for one simple reason—he’s incredibly cute! His abilities to self-heal, avoid divers, flank the enemy backline, and quickly heal allies make him a formidable hero in the roster. Even so, he doesn’t have a large collection of skins.

However, if you check his wardrobe, the best buyable skin for Jeff in Marvel Rivals is the Incognito Dolphin. The concept is straightforward: Jeff wears a pink dolphin suit to disguise his shark fin and avoid scaring people at the beach. Little did he know it would make him even more adorably clueless.
