It’s easy to get lost in all the choices, so we’ve put forth some build choices that might suit Strohl perfectly. He comes with the Warrior Archetype as his default, but a lot of work still needs to be done before you reach the end game.

Best Strohl Archetypes and Inherited Skills
As mentioned, Strohl comes with the Warrior Archetype. He can deal Slash attacks with skills from this particular class and reinforce them using buffs. Players will get the Brawler Archetype after meeting Catherina. She won’t be a party member, but will still leave this class as a gift for you. This has a variety of skills but majorly focuses on Strikes.
Many Inherited skills will work in Strohl’s favor. Heat Riser is a support Synthesis skill from the Seeker lineage that increases attack/defense/hit/evasion for one ally for three turns. Charge from the Berserker lineage is also a support skill that can greatly increase physical damage dealt by the caster once per battle. There are more that might prove helpful, but we think one of these two should be a part of your Strohl builds without fail.
Best Strohl Stats
You must have noticed that we didn’t assign any magical or support Archetype to Strohl. He has the freedom to take on those roles as well, but his natural stat allocation favors a more aggressive approach to battle. Don’t be shy. Let him be the natural slayer that he is. Feel free to invest in Stroh’s strength stats.
This will allow him to become more powerful as you move forward. It’s best to assign magic Archetypes to some other member of your party and leave Strohl just for the physical damage.
Best Strohl Build Equipment and Armor
Toward the end of the game, players should keep ranking up Strohl to make him a stronger ally. Don’t forget to level up the Archetypes either. You will gain access to the Royal Warrior Archetype in the late game which you should equip right away. Apart from that, experimentation is key. So, add or remove some Inherited skills based on your playstyle. The same goes for the equipment you will use for your human-slaying friend.
- Dynastic Blade seems the most powerful weapon Strohl can use in the game. This will help you deal more damage when using him. This will add to your stats and let the team member be a force to reckon with.
- As for the Armor and Gear, we have no specific recommendations. Try going for whatever has the most attack and luck. As they say, offense is the best defense. If your hits are already recording good numbers, you don’t need to worry about the rest. Beware of Azura’s Hands because even though it has good stats, they unfortunately don’t stack up. So, avoiding them is best for now.
- Accessory is also important and Gambler’s Manual will allow you to double your critical damage. Alternatively, equip Captain’s Bracelet to give Strohl the strength of a whole battalion.
